Thank you for reading and commenting on my story! I promise that I'll have our favorite couple in every chapter until the end.

Dylan closed the door loudly but not enough force to wake his sister up.

"Hey why did I find my son crying in the hallway? What did you say to him?"

"I didn't-"

"You didn't what?" Simon asked trying to make eye contact with her but she wouldn't look at him.

"I didn't mean to do that," Terri replied hoping he would drop the subject soon.

She wanted to be with her boyfriend and nothing or no one would get in the way of that.

"Sure you didn't. He has been hurt so many times. The last thing he needs was to be hurt again. Tell me exactly what happened," Simon replied trying to understand why Dylan was crying.

Dylan didn't cry often but when he cried something, or most of the time someone, hurt his feelings.

"I told him that I couldn't play with him," Terri said with no emotion on her face at all.

"And why couldn't you?" Simon asked with his arms folded.

"I wanted to spend some time with you," Terri replied hoping he felt the same way.

"So you decide to break a little boy's heart in the process to get what you want. Is that what I'm hearing?"

"Sorry I just thought that we are going out. Now I see that I just wasted a month on someone who doesn't matter like you,"

"Get out of my house now!!" Simon replied in a firm voice while pointing at the door.

He wanted to yell at her but didn't want to wake up Rochelle in the process.

"That's where I was headed!" Terri said getting her keys out of her purse." I hope you have a good life Simon, whatever you choose!" she continued yelling at him.

Simon watched from the front door as she slammed her car door and speed out of the street. Simon ran upstairs and put his ear on Dylan's door to find out if he was still crying or not. He slowly opened the door to see his son wasn't aware of what just occurred downstairs. Dylan was sitting on the ground and playing with his trucks quietly.

"Dylan, are you okay son?" Simon asked worried about him.

"Yes Dad I'm fine." Dylan said looking at his dad who was standing by his bedroom door. "Why was she so mean to me?" He asked wondering if it was something that he said or did to make her react that way towards him.

"I don't know but I'm sorry that it happened to you again," Simon said as he walked over to where Dylan was and sat down.

"It's okay. Dad, can you play with me please?" Dylan asked hoping that his Dad wouldn't turn him down because he just wanted someone to play with him.

"Of course I will," Simon said grinning and began to play with his son.

*Later that night*

"Children, have you seen your father anywhere?" Julie asked wondering.

"He's on the couch in the sitting room grand mum," Dylan said glancing away from the television briefly to make eye contact with his grandma.

"Thanks dear," Julie said nodding and heading that direction.

Julie walked into the living room and finds her successful son very depressed. The last time she had seen him like that was when he had to move back home after losing all his possessions almost a decade ago.
