BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

My alarm clock rings, I roll over in my pink soft blanket and slam my fist on the alarm to make it stop beeping, crushing it into a bunch of little pieces. I sit up fast looking at the mess "Oh crap!" I yell out noticing what I just did. I pick up all the bits of clock and toss them into the trash. Walking across the hall into the cold quite bathroom, I turn on the hot water as the steam filled the room making it misty, throwing my clothes on the floor and stepping into the hot shower letting the water run through my long pink hair. I wash hair and body, 15 minutes pass and I step out into the coldness of the bathroom and shiver, grabbing my red towel wrapping it around myself, I pick up my dirty clothes, opening the door.  I run into Sasuke as he was passing by, knocking him and myself into my bedroom door. "Oh sorry Sasuke! I wasn't looking, I'm not use to other people being up at this time!" He looked me up and down then placed is hands on my shoulders pushed me off and away from him.

"It's whatever." He said and quickly made his way to the kitchen. I watched him for a few seconds wondering what that was all about. I shrug my shoulders and open my room door and step inside placing my dirty clothes in my basket and walked to my dresser, I pulled out lace black and red matching bra and underwear, my navy blue ANBU outfit and put everything on. "Nice and clothed!" I smile. "Annddd clothheeedddd..." I just now realized that I was naked with only a towel to cover myself when I ran into Sasuke.

I packed a bag for a few days worth of clothing and made my way to the kitchen. 'Sasuke must be in the shower.'  I say in my head wondering where he has gone. I set my things on the chair next to me as I eat my toast and drink my coffee. I hear a door click open, I look over to see Naruto tiredly walking to the kitchen. "You got about," I look at the clock hanging on the wall. "15 minutes to get ready and be at the meeting." I say telling Naruto what time he has to get ready for the day.

"Ugh okayyyy." He sighs sitting across from me.

"Don't forget about your date."

His eyes shot open and he slams his fist on the table making me jump. "YOU'RE RIGHT!" He yells at me. "I HAVE TO LOOK GOOD FOR HINATA WHEN I TAKE HER OUT AFTER THE MEETING!" He runs to the bathroom.

"Wait! Naruto!" I say standing up trying to grab him as he runs by but was too late.

He swings open the bathroom door to find himself being kicked in the chest sending him flying into my bedroom door completely taking it off the hinges. I stand in shock. Naruto picks his head up from the floor and rubs it.

"What the hell?" Naruto says.

Sasuke walks out of the bathroom with only a dark blue towel wrapped around his lower half exposing his perfect body. "Next time dobe, knock before you open the door." He says bending down to his side. "To think you called me your "'best friend'" and you didn't remember I was here." Naruto just looks at him and laughs. Sasuke stands up and looks at me in the eyes, my heart stops for a second, he turns back into the bathroom and shuts the door.

"Sakura, I'll buy and replace your door before you get home from your mission." Naruto says picking up the broken door.

I laugh. "Okay Naruto, sounds like a plan." I look at the clock. "You have 10 minutes."

"So long for my shower." He sighs.

The bathroom door opens and Sasuke walks out and into his room still in his towel as Naruto runs into the bathroom. Three minutes later Sasuke walks out in his uniform with a bag on his back and sits on the couch. Naruto runs out of the bathroom in his white towel wrapped around him and into his room, I sigh. "Naruto I'm leaving, you have 5 minutes."

Sasuke stands puts on his mask and walks out of the door, I grab my bag and slide it on, I walk out of the door where Sasuke is already gone, I shut the door and put on my mask, jumping on the roof of shops and houses all the way to the meeting place.

At the meeting everyone stood in lines of four, Kakashi explained to everyone in the ANBU about Sasuke and how he has to have someone to go on missions with for a few months. When Kakashi asked who all had solo missions today, I stepped forwards along with six others, Sasuke got to choose who he would like to go with and he chose me. After the meeting we grabbed our bags and told Naruto; who was with Hinata, bye and left the village setting off to the Hidden Mist to deliver the scroll Kakashi has given me.

I followed Sasuke as we hopped from tree to tree, I couldn't see his face from the mask, I watched his feet movements and just followed them. 'Getting late.'  I say to myself in my head as I look at the setting sun. I look back at Sasuke keeping a steady speed in front of me. "Hey Sasuke... I think we should stop for a little bit." He says nothing and just nods. I sigh. 'He never talks to me, never has and never will.'  Sasuke jumps down from the trees, I jump down after him. We stand in a small clearing.

"This can be camp for tonight." He mumbles.

"Oh, okay." I say back as I set down my bag and pull out my tent and start setting it up. Sasuke walks and grabs a few broken sticks and lights a small fire using his fire jutsu. It's almost 8:00 pm and the cold was closing in. I shiver and pull my knees to my chest trying to make warmth. "It's getting cold now, you can tell we're close to the Hidden Mist."

"Hn." He stands and walks into his tent.

I hear the shuffling of his blankets. I sigh and pull my knees closer, I lay my head on my knees and slowly fall asleep next to the dieing fire.

I wake up to shaking and someone saying my name.

"Sakura. Sakura wake up."

I open my eyes and look up at Sasuke as he looks down on me.

"Why are you out here?" He puts the back of his hand to my cheek. "You're freezing Sakura, get up."

I roll over and just sit there. Sasuke grabs my arm and pulls me to my feet, he pulls me into his tent and sits me down in his bed.

"Take off the armor." He says.

I do as he told me. I shiver when the armor touches my skin. When I have everything off, Sasuke hands me a dark blue long sleeve shirt with the Uchiha clan symbol on the back and gray sweat pants.

"Put that on, it will warm you up a little more. I'm not leaving the tent for you to change, it's freezing." He turns around.

I hesitate to change but know he's waiting on me so I hurry and change anyway. "O-Okay I'm d-d-done." I drown over my words from the coldness.

"Still cold?" He turns and looks at me. "Lay down and get some sleep."

I look at his bed and pull the covers over my cold body. "W-What are you g-going to d-do?"

"I'm going to lay next to you, best type of heat is body heat from others." He walks over to my side and lays down next to me. His back is to me and I have my face facing his back. I can't stop shivering. "Ugh." Sasuke sighs. "You have to stop shaking." He switches over to his side so he's facing me and wraps his arm around my neck and pulls me closer into his chest. My eyes widen not knowing what to do. I lower my face into his chest and wrap my arms around him, he rest his chin on the top of my head. My shivering slowly starts to stop. "Why were you outside?" I heard him sleepy ask.

"I just fell asleep out there." I mumble back.

"You're probably going to be sick now but if you stayed out there all night you would have froze to death."

I look up at him. "What made you go outside anyway?"

He looks down at me. "To make sure you were safe."

All I did was look down and put my face back into his chest. 'Does he care about me? Or does he just want to finish this mission without any distractions?'  I close my eyes and fall asleep in Sasuke's warm arms.
