Josh lies in his bed, relieved that Tyler isn't in the coffin. He had to run his hand under some cold water and wrap it in a bandage. It wasn't burned past a third-degree burn. He doesn't mind. Tyler isn't in the coffin.

His little sister Abigail comes quietly into his room. "I'm scared." She walks up to him and crawls in bed next to him.

"Don't be scared."

"You're hurt though." She knows about the burn.

"I'm good. I'm happy... and relieved," he replies, using the words Tyler used.

"If you're happy, I'm happy." She snuggles up closer to him, and he puts an arm around her.

"I'm pink-light-green," Josh whispers.

"Huh?" she whispers back, obviously confused.

"You don't see colors on things?"

"I see blue on the sky. And green on the grass."

"Very good, very good." He strokes her hair. No one gets the colors but Tyler.

"I love you," she says.

"I love you too."

"Can you marry me?"

He chuckles quietly. "You're my sister."

"Then I got a head start over anybody else."

"Whatever you say." He breathes on her hair. She is a slightly darker pink, but pink nonetheless. She is also a goldfish.

His sister is only nine years old, and his brother Jordan is twelve. Josh is basically their parent because neither of their actual parents are responsible enough.
