Three Empty Words

I've never really fallen in love.
I've never felt what falling in love feels like.

To me, love isn't a waste of time, or money. Love is simply being with the person you are truly having the time of your life with. Wrapped up in their arms, saying "I love you" to each other?

The only perfect love i've seen is on tv. But off the tv, love isn't perfect. Sometimes you fight. A lot. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter as long as you have your favorite person in the whole entire world wrapped around your finger and there whenever you need them. Right?

My name is Lily Edwards. I used to want to fall in love when i was a freshman in school. All my friends were and i was exhausted if being the third wheel at events. I've never been asked out or cared to ask anyone out. I felt like i was rushing, just wanting my first love to hurry up and get here. Which i was. But i didn't know the downsides to having a boyfriend. Nor did i want to know. I just simply wanted to be hopelessly happy in love.

One day, it all came to me. My hopes, my prayers, they were finally answered. A guy i actually liked asked me out. His name is Baylor. People would say he's the average hot and smart guy. I would agree. But there was just something about him that made my heart and stomach dance when he came around. That feeling that he was different from all the others. He wanted what i wanted. A love. A real love. Something incredible happened that day. A love i couldn't forget came my way and asked me to be his boyfriend.
