My fingers played a soft yet sorrowful tune, as I tried to tune out the awful and pointless argument my parents were having. They were yelling again at each other. I wish I could drown their yells and that I could just dissapear off into nothingness. I slammed my fingers at the keys even harder, making my sorrowfull tune angry and heavy. I suddenly heard a plate break against the floors and I gritted my teeth so tightly together, I thought my jaw would break under so much pressure. I then heard a blood-curdling scream that made me stop my playing almost instantly. I jumped off my piano bench and cautiously walked over towards the stairs. I crawled slowly down the stairs and into the kitchen. When I finally got to the kitchen, I was met with such a horrible sight, it almost made me vomit. My mother was upsidedown on the ground and had a huge wound on her back, oozing with dark crimson blood that pooled around her like a halo, tinting her white dress in a glistening red. Her light blue eyes, that looked at me with so much love before, were now lifeless and dull, with a horrified expression frozen on her beautiful, pale face. Her black hair was a mess, something that never happened when she was alive, proof that she had been tussled around before she had been stabbed.  I then heard a slight choking sound and a small screech of pain as well as soft cries from my left side. I looked over and froze. My father was beating my twin sister, Mikasa and had a bloody knife in his left hand, ready for the kill. Mikasa let out a final cry of pain before she was dropped to the ground. Our eyes met for a split second. Her cheeks where stained with her tears and her eyes, her silver eyes, were pleading at me to run away, or to help her, but I couldn't move. I was rooted to the ground. I wanted to scream but I didn't. I reached out my hand and mouthed a quick sorry just as my father brang down the knife and started to stab her too. I looked away, and brang my attention to my shoes. How could I be such a coward? Why didn't I save her? I could do it. But I didn't. And it was entirely my fault. A tear fell from my eye, followed by a million more. I clenched my fist. I was angry. My whole being trembled with rage. I could've saved them. It's my fault, It's my fault they're dead.

My father's sinister chuckles that filled the silent room made me look up at him. His pupils seemed to be eating away at his silver cornea, turning his eyes an awful black. His voice started to morph making his chuckles turn even deeper and scrachier. My whole body tensed and I stood still again. His head started to sprout two goat-like, black horns on his temples. His nails turned long and black, throat-cuttingly sharp. His legs started to change into ones of an ox, tearing at his pants while they changed. He seemed to grow taller, more intimidating than he already was. His teeth were now like a shark's, pointy and his smirk revealed all of them, making them glisten evilly in the artificial lighting of the kitchen. I slowly started to back off into the wall like a little bitch, tembling in my shoes when he started to move closer to me. He reached out to me and brought his sharp, knife-like claws close to my face and lifted my chin. He smiled evilly at my reaction and with his other hand started to choke me, his claws digging into my skin, drawing warm blood. I tried to take him off me desperatly, but I couldn't wiggle out of his hold.

"Coward! Stay still and accept your fate! Look at what I've done! Why didn't you stop me! You could've saved them! But now they're dead!" He yelled at me. I stopped struggling, I couldn't move again. I couldn't do anything and I wanted to live, I wanted to avenge my family. I couldn't and he was now slowly killing me, robbing the only air in my pathetic lungs that I needed to fight.

"This is what you deserve! You've let me kill them! And now, you're going to end up just like them." He said, smirking as he lifted his other hand and clawed at my stomach, making my insides spill down on the floor in a bloody heap. I let out a breathless, chocked cry of pain and just before I faded into darkness, I heard him laughing at me, taunting me with his victory... I had lost once again.
