The doors of the SWAT van opened and four SWAT troops, armed with riot shields and sub machine guns, rushed to the front of the high school before crouching down, holding their shields up and pointing their weapons out toward the closed doors. The many other officers behind them held their pistols out carefully, fear and uncertainty in their eyes as they awaited word from the suspect.
A 9-1-1 call had been made by a student, claiming that a teacher had gone ballistic and had taken seven students hostage in the school's library, threatening them with a high caliber assault rifle. Since there were no windows for the library, the police had to communicate to the suspect through his cell phone. He had only called once and refused to answer after he had made his demands. The SWAT had been called in for hope that they could rescue the students without having to give in to the gunman's demands.
The gunman heard a sound and pointed his gun at the seven students anxiously. He had them sitting on their knees with their hands on their heads, all but one of them were either visibly shaking or crying.
"If any one of those cops break in here," the gunman said as he wiped sweat off of his brow, "I will blow all of your brains out."
"Why are you doing this?" a female student sobbed. "What do you gain from all this!?"
"Shut up!" the gunman said as he hit her with the butt of his gun. The girl fell to the ground and held her chest where she had been hit. "I'll kill you now!" The gunman shouted.
He raised his gun and the girl let out a scream. One of the students let out a battle cry and punched the gunman in the back of his knee. The gunman dropped his gun and fell to his knees, gasping in shock. The student pulled out a pencil from his sleeve and started stabbing the man in the throat repeatedly. The man screamed in pain as his blood sprayed across the library, staining everything in it's path. The student then threw the man to the ground and picked up his assault rifle. The man raised his hand toward the student with a plea for an end in his eyes, but the student only had hatred in his eyes. The student pulled the trigger and a spray of bullets filled the gunman's chest. When the gun ran out of ammo, the student tackled the man and continued stabbing him with his pencil.
An explosion blasted the library doors open and the SWAT team rushed in. Two escorted the students out while the other two tried to pry the student off of the gunman. The boy roared in rage and fought against the SWAT, trying to break free from their grasp until one of them pulled out a taser to put the kid to rest.
The conflict was resolved but the suspect was dead.
