I sat, bored in my math class, in the back seat next to the window. I stared at my blank notebook page. The teacher was blabbering about something I probably already knew, and once in awhile scolded a kid for not paying attention. I sighed, looking out the window, my cheek resting on my palm. The clouds were grey, like my mood. Like my life. A boring, pointless, colorless life. That was what I had dreamed of after all. What i had wanted for so many years. My mood had been shit since this morning. I had been overthinking of my dream, and to make it worse I was stuck in this stupid class. Suddenly there was a soft knock on the door, making my math teacher stop his blabbering and roll his eyes in annoyance from being interrupted.

"Come in" he said, annoyed.

A tall, slender boy came in through the door. He stood there, with his black backpack one one shoulder, almost falling off. He had his -what I assumed- scheduel in his hand and was standing in the doorway with a small, shy smile. His skin was tan. He wore a light blue t-shirt, a pair of ripped skinny jeans, a worn, old brown jacket, a necklace with an old styled key tied to it and a pair of black, worn out vans. But what took my breath away were his eyes. They were a bright emerald and around his pupils there was a ring of brown with small specks of gold. They shone so brightly, they lit up the whole room alone. They were trapped behind a pair of big, geeky, black rimmed glasses. He was... cute. I choked back my surprised squeak by coughing a little. How could I think that?! What the hell is wrong with me? I looked out the window and glared at nothing as I felt a light blush spread across my pale cheeks.

"H-Hello! I-Is this the advanced math class?" The boy asked with a light stutter. His voice was light, carefree and possesed a not-so-heavy german accent that made me wither in curiosity.

The teacher raised his eyebrow "Yes. It is. Are you the new exchange student that came in this morning?" Well that explained one of my questions.

"Yes" He said, clearing his throat slightly in nervousness.

"What's your name? I need to register it and send it to office" Said my teacher.

"My name is Eren Jeager" He said with his cute little smile still desperately clinging on his face.

"Okay" The teacher wrote it on his palm with a pen "You may now take a seat so I can continue with class. And please, pay attention"

The boy -Eren- looked around the room, looking for a seat. The only ones left were the one beside me and another in the front of the classroom. No one dared sit next to me. I guess its because of my glare but, I didn't really care. I liked to be alone. I sigh once again (I really need to stop doing that) and looked back out the window. The clouds looked puffy, as if made out of cotton candy. My eyes started to droop, exhausion taking over every one of my pores. I slowly shut my eyes and put my head on top of my folded arms. Suddenly, in the midst of the darkness behind my eyelids, the loud screech of the chair besides me made me shoot my head up in alarm with wide eyes. I looked to my side, my eyes meeting a flare of green fire behind dark rimmed glasses. I glared at him. He looked at me with frightened eyes at my glare and quietly muttered a strangled apology. I grumbled in satisfaction and softened my glare into my usual emotionless expression. He sat down and took out his books, quietly sighing. I rolled my eyes and put my head between my folded arms. Slowly, I drifted into sleep. Darkness enveloped me in its serene arms and then stabbed me in the back like the bitch it was. The image of my demonic father looked down at me, his evil smirk making a shiver run down my spine. His demonic, black, pupiless eyes stared me down. I suddenly felt eleven again, I felt like he was about to beat me with his belt after a long night of drinking. I took a step back and he smirked wider, revealing his shark-like teeth to me. I trembled and he cackled, his laugh sounding like nails scraping against a chalkboard mixed with a chainsaw cutting through wood. I slapped my hands against my ears, trying to block him out. I was on my knees again. He slowly stopped laughing and walked towards me, leaning down to level with me. He leaned so close to me, I could smell his putrid, cold breath against my face.
