~The Kiss~

A blanket of gray rest over my head.

Dark, rainy, droopy clouds hang from the blanket that rest upon the world.

Walking over puddles of water, murky from the dirt on the road, my feet turn cold.

Only one place remains untouched from that of human reach.

Many not knowing that it exist except a few.

Black now covers the world with glitters of yellow and gold as I approach the wonder of the world.

Purples and pinks, blues and greens litter the pine green grass like splashes of color on a blank canvas.

I automatically feel at peace at it's beauty.

I stand tall at the edge, looking over the cliff into a mess of blue.

The sea seeming endless from how black mixes with the royal blue of earth.

Busy being caught in my daydream of thoughts, I miss the arms that lay around my waist.

The arms lay there motionless as an opposite of the sea below.

I feel a gentle push being brought down on my body.

I end up kneeling facing the black abyss, my hair being swept by the wind like grass in a meadow.

I feel my hands in the pine green grass, my feet in the dirt that lay under the beauty.

The arms turn my body around.

Feet hanging over the edge, I look down to the colors of the petals of flowers that lay there.

Hands cup my face. Their hands feeling nothing like mine, big and soft as a baby. As mine lay at my side small and rough from working.

Hair falls from its place. The hair that was once acting as a curtain from reality, opens up to the world, as my head was tilted up,

Warm, silky skin makes contact with my cheek.

My eyes close from the comfort that the warmth of the lips bring.

My smile of content rest upon my once sadden, miserable face.

One hand makes it way to the back of my head. Soon having a fist of my hair.

My small, delegate hands make their way to wrap around the strangers arm.

Their clothing like silk.

All to soon it vanished.

Just. Like. That...

The happiness was gone.

I open my eyes to be met with the grey blanket that covers the sky once again.

Sighing I continue my journey through the puddles that lay on the road to nowhere.
