"Me and your mother are leaving." My dad said.
My father was no where near my father. he's too weird. My mother understands.
"Why are you leaving?"
"A bad person us after us. In order for us to be alive we need too leave."
"But what about me? And Onee~Chan."
"Merodi will be fine. Your mother trusts you to watch her."
"but I'm only 13. She's 6."
"Don't worry. she'll be fine. We'll continue to pay bills and we are giving you a credit card to use for stuff."
They hear a horn honk.
"take care now." Her father pats her head and he run out the door.
Living alone is a hard thing. especially with a 9 year old. Also knowing both your parents are dead. I'm older now and learned more responsibilities. I grew up quick. doing all the chores making sure Merodi is fed and happy. signing report cards. Merodi is at a sleep over for an entire week. I'm walking home when I see head lights. Coming straight for me. To hit me. and kill me.
