A Fresh Start For A New Life

Sebastian and Ciel walked through the streets of London, Sebastian had a calm look on his face but Ciel's facial expression changes as soon as he heard a small noise come from a barely lit alley. He stopped in his tracks and turned towards the alley entrance, he slowly approached it with extreme caution. Sebastian watched and followed unaware of what ciel was doing, eventually he spoke. "May I ask what you seem to be doing, Young master?" Ciel looked at Sebastian and spoke softly "shut up and listen."

A quiet pause fell between the two before a loud clatter was heard. Ciel jumped as Rayvn fell out of the shadows. She looked up from the ground to look at their faces, she sighed and thought 'oh lord, not this again.'
Ciel examined her for a good, solid minute. He raises one eyebrow slightly and speaks loud enough for her to hear. "Who are you?"
Rayvn sighed out of relief and looked at him as she stood up, brushing the dirt off her clothes. "My name is Rayvn.. Rayvn Nightingale."
Ciel nodded and thought for a second then smirked "hmm.. How would you like a position as one of the servants in the Phantomhive household?" Rayvn's smile slowly crept up her lips and her face lit up. Her eyes started sparkling with light, she squealed softly and bowed to Ciel. "Yes, please!"

She smiled brightly knowing her life was going to change. She walked towards Ciel and Sebastian, she looked at Sebastian "Who might you be, sir?" she asked politely. Sebastian smirked slyly and bowed slightly. "My name is Sebastian Michaelis. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Nightingale." he said, but as he spoke to her he couldn't help but feel like she wasn't a normal human, but he felt slightly nervous as well.
"As it is for me.." she replied kindly.

Ciel sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Enough with the chit-chat, let's bring you back to the Manor Miss Rayvn." Ciel decided to see how she dealt with walking a couple miles, she was able to last without complaining. Within 20 minutes, Ciel and Sebastian were at the Manor's front doors with Rayvn behind them. Rayvn looked at the size of the home with awe, Sebastian couldn't help but to look at her and smile, although he couldn't understand why. He just dashed the thought aside as he looked at Ciel and thought of his smile that can be rarely seen.

The doors swing open and three people stand in the door way, a maid with thick glasses in a maids uniform, cook with a cigarette and a gardener with a straw hat hanging around his neck. The three of them spoke to Ciel in unison. "Welcome back, my lord!" they said happily, but not soon after their eyes focus on the newly arrived face Rayvn has. Ciel and Sebastian lead her into the main hall, but the maid looks at her and shouts happily but with a thick cockney accent."Hello miss, Name's Mey-rin, it is! What's yours?" she asked. Rayvn stood there and stared at her thick glasses, the gardener, and the cook with the cigerette in his mouth. She smiled softly and said "I'm Rayvn Nightingale, you two boys are?"
The gardener replies "I'm Finnian, but call me Finny."
The cook looks at her with a straight, relaxed facial expression. "The name's Baldroy, pleasure to meet you."
Rayvn nodded and said "It's been a pleasure to meet you three."

Ciel sighed "Alright, enough. Sebastian Show Miss Rayvn to her room if you please, she has a big day tomorrow if you are showing her around."
Sebastian lifts his arm so his forearm lays across his chest, his right hand over his heart. "Yes, Young Master. Pleasr follow me Miss Rayvn." he said as he started walking down the hallway to the left of the enterance. Rayvn bowed quickly to Mey-rin, Baldroy, and Finny then she ran towards Sebastian. She followed behind him and looked around, but a second later she found herself on the floor. Sebastian stopped in his tracks at her bedroom door unknowing how close she was behind him. She put her hand on her lower back and groaned softly. Sebastian looked towards her and offered her his hand. "My apologies, I was unaware of how close you were."
"It's quite alright, it was my fault. Im just a klutz." she said as she grabbed his hand and lifted herself up. He smiled "Indeed." he said as he let out a small chuckle.

Sebastian opened the doors to her room. Rayvn smiled and rushed past him and plopped on the bed, the bed felt as if she was relaxing on a warm fluffy cloud. She buried her face in the pillows and covered herself in the blankets. She let out a satisfied sigh, "Good night, Sebastian." she said before he could. She took the words out of him mouth pretty much, he smiled and nodded "Good night, Miss Rayvn." he said before he closed the doors. Rayvn closed her eyes and drifted into a peaceful sleep.
