Kirstin's PoV:

I woke up at 10am. I guess I was really tired and just needed a lot of sleep. I stretched to my bed side table and took my phone releasing it from its charging cable and unlocking it to see that Mitch and Scott had made a group chat called 'weirdos'. Unfortunately being friends with them now meant I had about 200 messages asking where I was and if I was awake yet. I quickly messaged back saying I was awake and would come down soon.

After getting into the shower and changing into my usual attire of a loose top and black skinny jeans, I grabbed my hoodie that said Texas Rangers on it and put my brown leather boots on that were one of my personal favorites for shoes because they had cute little tassels on the side. I then grabbed my phone and ran downstairs. I met Scott and Mitch in the lounge on the ground floor.

"Finally. Someone decided to wake up." Mitch sarcastically said with a giggle as Scott handed me a small paper bad with two pieces of toast in it as I'd missed breakfast. We talked about what classes we had applied for and hoped that we would have a lot of classes together.

After lunch at around 3pm some more students arrived. There were many arriving in the older years but we didn't see much of them as our year and the year above luckily got to live in the main student accommodation building whilst other years had to walk from a different accommodation building to the main one for breakfast and dinner. There were however some new kids who turned out to have the room across from Scott and Mitch's. We found out that they're also from America and are called Kevin and Avril(Avi for short). I then met Avi's sister she was in the year above us but because there were an odd number of girls I'd be sharing the room with her. She seemed nice though so I didn't really mind. I also thought having a girl who was a school year above me would come in handy as she would know at least some of the curriculum for some of the subjects.
The school year was going to start in three days. I had to get ready for school meaning getting new supplies, uniform and getting past the jet lag. This would be hard.
At least I now had a nice roommate. Esther seemed really nice. I helped her put her belongings away and we went out to the mall to grab a few new school supplies and clothes before returning for dinner with Scott, Mitch, Kevin and Avi would had all made friends and were discussing how they liked their barbecue. Esther found this hilarious and explained to me that this was definitely an Avi inspired chat as he loved barbecue. We then went beach to our rooms after finishing dinner and I waved goodbye to the new boys in my year that I'd become friends with already. Esther said that she didn't really have many friends but she had one really good one. She wouldn't tell me her name yet but all she said was that she thought that I'd love her. I couldn't wait. I was abroad at one of the most popular music schools, classes were starting in three days and I'd made a handful of friends already. This was more than I expected. As I tucked into bed I quietly thought to myself that this would turn out to be an interesting year at least and if not it would be an amazing one.
