Prologue
She was a mystery as they liked to say it. She was just the epitome of mystery with her silver eyes that could raise curiosity to anyone she would encounter.
Curiosity. From the little of things to things beyond everyone's imagination. No one would have imagined her to walk among them at night, and appear as the fearless and ruthless General of Wars that she was during the day.
She was the strongest among the twenty borders . The strongest among the five tribes and the strongest among the five generals.
Among all of the powers anyone could have. Only the King could beat her. Only he would have the power to crush her.
And she knew to get on the King's good side or she's good as dead.
She lived in no throne and no one knew of her features. What people knew, was that the past Queen Belrose of Vartae elected her as the General of Wars needing no man to compete of her.
Vartae was another thing. After Queen Belrose passed away, she gave her lands to King Naqoetise of Zernaelle when he was just an infant. Leaving him to grow up and be the King of the whole lands.
Leaving him cruel and merciless. Leaving him cold. Alone and nothing to do with all of his riches and powers.
And as King Naqoetise grew up and reached 20. He gave up on finding a Queen. As no one did took his ideal interests.
But Aquilina? She was more than the typical General she was. She was another person. The person no one expected for a cruel cold-blooded person the person could become.
And like how the story started.
She was simply the epitome of mystery.
