So guys, something very exciting happened to me on Friday, September 23, 2016: I was asked to Homecoming at the football game with a sign and flowers!!!! Then at the dance the next day, we maybe kinda sorta kissed. It was both of our first kisses and first Homecomings, and there's just one teensy weensy little problem: he's my best friend's brother. Now she says she's okay with us being together (praise the God that y'all believe in) but he's two grades above me and leaving for college in two years. I don't want to leave him, and he said he doesn't wanna leave me, but because I'm a realist I've been thinking about us a lot, and I don't know what to do. Any advice?

Also, guys (and gals): don't spend your life thinking you'll never find someone to love you for who you are. I thought I wouldn't, and I almost gave up, but people that love and accept you for who you are do exist. I know that may be hard to believe, and it might take your whole life to find them, but it's so worth the wait. I never expected to get asked to Homecoming, much less with a grand sign and flowers, but this stuff happens. And if you find your someone, cherish them as long as you have them. Things don't always work out how we want them to, but when they do, hold on to that and the memories.

Also, please enjoy that screenshot from when I was watching Supernatural.
