Hey everyone! This is unedited, so bare with me !

***Maya's POV
I jumped at the sound of tapping on my windowsill.
Ugh
Not right now Jake
I opened the window and looked out, to see a smiling Jake sitting on my windowsill.
"It took you long enough," he snorted. How attractive.
"Sorry, I don't have superpowers to make me teleport to you the instant you snap your fingers," I say giving him a sarcastic grin.
"Anyways, what do you want" I added.
"To talk," he says, making himself more comfortable on my window sill.
"About?"
"About you"
"Listen, I have homework to get done and I don't-"
"Shhhhh..." he says.
A knock on the door was heard in his bedroom, as he jumped off of my window sill and onto his, climbing into his room.
He is so graceful. If I tried to do that, I would fall on my face and make a fool out of myself.
I close my window and sit on my rolling desk chair and stare at my laptop. I have an assignment due in 3 days for Social Studies about Abraham Lincoln and I haven't had any ideas about how I'm going to write it.
I decide that maybe my brain will work better on a full stomach, so I go downstairs to find something to eat.
I grab a bowl and walk over to my pantry when all of a sudden I feel something tap me on the shoulder.
I spin around, only to be greeted by Jake's smiling face.
"Jake! Don't do that again!!! You nearly scared me to death!" I said with my hand on my chest, trying to calm myself down.
I couldn't help but smile when Jake put his hand on his chest and started to mock me. When he was done making fun of me, he grabbed my wrist and started dragging me out the door.
"I'm taking you out" he says, while the cool October breeze hits my face.
