Jane Flashback
"So you two are really twins? That's wicked!" says the boy. "Yup." My brother and I chorus at once. We finish eating the sweets we purchased from the trolley witch. I can already tell that we're going to be friends. His hair, his eyes, his personality. There's no denying that he's his father's son. Even if you don't know his last name. We all share something in common. The want and desire to stray away from our parents' legacy. To not all be judged by our peers for the triumphs and mistakes of our parents before us.
Jane Present Day Thoughts
I remember that day from the back of my mind. Back when I thought I would be okay. When Hogwarts was my home. Oh how different things turned out. My brother. My own flesh and blood and he looks at me like a stranger. But I mentally slap myself. How could he think anything other? As far as his mind can reach that's exactly what he's been made to think.
