Chapter 1

Beanj's POV

I was in the middle of my sleep when someone knocked on my door.

"Nak, you have a visitor downstairs tsaka may pasok ka." oh its my gorgeous mom.

I open the door. "Sino ma?" I asked curiously with eyebrows creased. I dont expect a visitor this morning.

"See for yourself Beanj. Fix yourself okay?" she said then umalis na sa harapan ko at dumeretso sa baba.

Ginawa ko na ang morning rituals ko and other stuffs. Naghahanap ako ng damit. Its my first day nga pala as a college. So, I wore an above the knee short then my GetBlued shirt. What? I'm a loyal atenean. I made way downstairs.

"Ma--Jho?!" I shouted kausap niya pala sila Mom at Dad

"Goodmorning Beanjamin!" she greeted me with her brightest smile.

"Anak, babae pa talaga nasundo sayo e." Dad said pagtapos ko magbeso sakanila ni Mama.

"I never asked her to dad." I said. Jho just rolled her eyes while looking at me.

"Dad, we're going to be late na po. Mom, bye. Loveyou parents!" I said tapos hinila ko na palabas si Jho.

"Goodmorning beh!" she said then hugged me.

"Goodmorning too." I said. Btw, she's Jhoana Louisse Maraguinot my bestfriend since pre school.

Sumakay na kami sa kotse ko. Yeah, my car! Dad bought it for me. "Why are you so early?" I asked suddenly.

"Nothing. I just wanna start the day with my oh-so-panget na best friend." she said teasing me.

"Haven't eaten breakfast yet beh?" I asked ang aga niya e usually kasi tanghali na yan.

"Uhuh. Treat mo'ko beh?" she asked me. I just nodded. She laughed and thanked me.

We ate breakfast sa McDo. Sabi niya e she's the boss. While were on our way to Ateneo. "Beh, you have trainings today?" she asked me. I'm a basketball player here since high school.

"Yeah. Coach Norman asked me to train na e. Ikaw ba?" i asked her. She's a part of the Ateneo Lady Eagles. She just nod.

"Okay! We're here. Tara na." I said. We got out of the car. Hinila naman niya ako papunta sa building namin. We are greeted by friends.

"So? Dito na ako beh. Bye! Good luck sa training mamaya." she said then bineso ako.

I was on my way to my room ng may biglang umakbay sakin.

"Naks! Hatid sundo pala kayo ni BEH ano?" he teased.

"Tigilan moko Thirdy ha. May masama ba don?" I asked.

"Ang defensive naman bro. Masama talaga yun kung ang sinasabi mong status niyo e "best friends" pero you act like lovers." he said then laughed.

"Alam mo? Ang dami mo talagang alam. Late na tayo tara na." I said then we went sa class. I was so focused sa pakikinig when my phone vibrated.

Ilang minutes nalang at matatapos na ang pagdudusa ko sa Trigo na to. The bell rang at dinismiss na kami ng prof namin. I immediately went to the canteen and saw my bestfriend sitting with a bunch of girls.

"Hi beh, Hi girls." I said then nakipagbeso ako kay Jho.

"Hi beh. Umh, girls this is Beanjamin Valdez." she introduced me. I gave each and everyone of em a smile.

"Hi I'm Jia."

"I'm Maddie"

"I'm Ana"

"I'm Jamie"

"I'm Jules"

"I'm Ann"

"I'm Gizelle"

"Nice to meet you Beanj." sabi nila ng sabay sabay.

"Nice meeting all of you too." I replied then took a sit beside Jho.

"So... What's with the two of you?" sabi ni Jamie.

"We're best friends." sabay namin na sagot ni Jho.

"Weh? Talaga lang ha? With beh thingy at kung ano ano pang sweetness?" pang aasar ni Gizelle.

"Yeah we're best friends." Jho said. I don't know why pero there's a sudden pang in my chest when she said the sentence we're best friends.

"Order na tayo?" Jia said.

Bumili na kami ng mga pagkain namin. Medyo nawalan din ako ng gana kumain pero diko alam kung bakit.

"Girls, alis na ako ah may training pa ako e." pagpapaalam ko sakanila.

"Sama ako beh." Jho said.

"Maiinip ka lang doon. You can go with them nalang beh." sabi ko sakanya. I dont know pero gusto ko muna dumistansya sakanya.

"Sige beh. Ingat ka." She said. I bid my goodbye to each and everyone of them tapos dumiretso na ako sa BEG.

"Oy! MVP!" sigaw ni Thirdy.

"Everyone! The MVP has arrived." he said. I showed him my fist kasi he just made me the center of attraction and I don't want that.

"Good morning Coach." I greeted Coach Norman.

"MVP, bihis ka na. We have a training." he said.

Nag bihis na ako then nagsimula na ang training. I'm zoning out masyado ko naiisip si Jho. Hayyy bakit ba si Jho.

"Beeeeeh!" speaking of. Sabi ko naman kasi wag na muna siya pumunta e maiinip lang siya.

Nagddrills pa kami. Ako nag shshooting at dribbling. I'm soaking wet because of sweat. Coach ordered us to stop. We formed a huddle.

"Okay! Guys, De La Salle Green Archers will be here tomorrow for a tune up game. I want all of you in good condition tomorrow, okay?" he said.

"Yes coach." we all said. I was heading back to the shower room when I saw Ged talking to Jho. Binilisan ko na magbihis.

Pagkalabas na pagkalabas ko pa lang ng shower room I saw her laughing. "Beh!" I shouted kaya it also caught Ged's attention. I ran to them.

"Beh, bakit ka naman tumakbo?" she said tapos she rub my back.

"Wala lang. Uwi na tayo?" I asked.

"Tara na beh." she said. "Bye Ged! Nice meeting you." she said then hugged the latter.

"Nice meeting you too Jho." he said then looked at me.

"Beanj." he said then nod. I nodded too in response.

"Beh, you smell pawis na." she said in her conyo voice while were on our way to the parking lot. I find her conyo voice cute.

"Oh really huh?! I smell pawis na ha?!" I said then hugged her making her smell me.

"Ahhhhh! Beh! I'm just kidding hahaha you haha dont smell hahaha pawis haha." She said in between her laugh.

"Tara na nga! Its already 5:30pm oh." I said.

Puro asaran at katuwaan lang the whole ride. Sana ganito palagi.
