I felt numb. I knew I was heading off to London and it would be a big deal for me, but only when I was in the airport waiting for my plane did I realise how much I was actually leaving behind. I was leaving behind all of the people who had given me a second chance, the person who stood by me no matter what- Jordan. He'd hardly looked at me since he came to pick me up. I could tell that he was trying to not get emotional. I guess actually taking notice of me for my final few hours would make it even worse for him. And then there was Vic - he was here too. I'd told him he didn't have to come but he had insisted on it. I was happy, but also slightly annoyed. I mean, come on, it's hard enough saying goodbye to Jordan, but having Vic there to top it all off is even worse. But I'd come so far and I couldn't just turn around and forget it all. It was my chance. Those four words were the only things keeping me going.

"One chocolate and orange mocha thingy for Tayls-" Jordan said as he handed me a warm paper cup.

"Latte Jordan, it's a latte." I smirked and nodded slightly in thanks as I grasped the cup between my palms. I seriously needed to wake up.

"Well they shouldn't have such confusing names. You sure you didn't want anything, Vic?"

"Positive. I'll be sick, it's too early." Vic said in reply. We were sat by the wall in the airport waiting patiently. We were early, but the plane had also been delayed by an hour so all we could do is sit and wait. To be fair, it made it worse as it only caused for overthinking into the subject to happen. We were all so quiet. I sat and sipped my drink as I didn't want to be the first to break the silence.

"Oh my God!" I heard a girl squeal near one of the coffee bars in the airport. I ignored it and continued to drink my drink, and it was only until I heard, "Oh my God you're Vic Fuentes, aren't you?" a little closer that I lifted my head up. Two girls - one with long black hair and a nose ring and another with short blue hair and multiple ear piercings - were stood in front of us.

"Uh, yeah I am. Hey." Vic sounded pleasant and I thought it was sweet that even though he was so tired, he still had time for his fans.

"And are you Taylor, his girlfriend?" The blue haired one asked.

"I'm Taylor but I'm not sure about the other part." I laughed awkwardly and sipped my drink. Jordan sat down beside me.

"It's, uh, complicated." Vic laughed awkwardly. The blue haired girl apologised.

"Sorry to be such a bother but do you think we could get a picture with you?" The black haired girl asked. They both seemed to have good manners and weren't as outgoing and demanding as other fans I had ever witnessed. Vic agreed and they spent some time taking pictures on their camera phones as I pulled my phone out of my pocket to check a text I just received.

Dad: Taylor, I apologise about the way I reacted the other day. I decided I'm going to try my hardest to cut out the alcohol - it's hard, and it's a way of numbing the pain, but it needs to go. Today is day one of detox and being sober reminded me of the way I have treated you since the incident with Faith. I apologise dearly; it's not fair that you should be cast out by both of your parents. I understand it's a little too late for this as you made me aware that you will be leaving for London. I hope with all my being that you accept my apologies to you. Have an amazing life in London. I won't ever forget about you and my door is always open if ever you need me. I'm doing this for you. I love you with all my heart, please don't forget that x x x x.

"Hey, you okay?" Vic murmured and I felt his arm wrap around my shoulders. I hadn't realised that the two girls had walked away and I was sat staring at my phone with tears in my eyes. I locked my phone - I would reply when I landed in London - and shoved it into my pocket as I blinked away the tears.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a cute message." I laughed slightly. "Those girls seemed nice." I looked up at him and smiled.

"Yeah, they were. I recognise the blue-haired one."

"You've probably met her before. You meet so many fans."

"That's true."

"You know, I'm wondering why Jordan and I haven't met any of our fans yet." I smirked and Jordan lifted his head up to smile weakly.

"Yeah," he chimed in. "We're YouTube stars." He snickered quietly.

"With all our subscribers, wow. We're doing pretty well, though. We could be doing worse." I laughed and covered my face with my hands. "Warped Tour vlog was the best because I captured you in your carrot costume."

"You said become a carrot man."

"I said rent a caravan!" I burst into laughter and Jordan joined in. Vic grinned at us.

"Not cool." Jordan said as he shook his head.

"All passengers boarding flight 272 to London Heathrow Airport please board the plane and have tickets and passports at the ready." My head jolted up as I heard the voice over the intercom and I frowned. I stood up as I mumbled "that's me I guess" and picked up my backpack. I put the rest of my coffee in the trash and looked at Jordan and Vic with a weak smile.

It was silent for a moment.

"I'll see ya'-" Jordan cut himself off as his voice broke and he tried to hold back the tears.

"Not if I see you first." I quoted and wrapped my arms around him in a tight embrace. He held me back and I allowed for the tears to flow over my eyelids, creating a path down my cheeks. "Love you-" I managed.

"Love you too." He mumbled into my hair. "Promise me it's not the end?" He asked as I pulled away. I nodded and let out a weak, "I promise." Jordan looked down and wiped his eyes and I turned towards Vic.

"Go on, Rafiki. You'll miss your plane." He smiled weakly at me. I pulled him into a hug and buried my head in his chest. "Man I'm gonna' miss you. I'll visit you when I'm in London." He squeezed me gently. I could tell in his voice he was trying to not get upset.

"You better had do too. Who else is gonna' quote The Lion King with me?" I smirked and he kissed the top of my head.

"Now go. Shoo." He pulled away and smirked. "You're needed elsewhere."

"But I'm needed here-" I saw Jordan look down again out of the corner of my eye. He needed me. I couldn't go.

"You're needed in London more. It's hard now but it will get better." I nodded slightly and began to turn around.

"I'll miss you both." I muttered as I hitched my bag up my shoulders. They said "I'll miss you too" in synchronization. I took a deep breath and wandered over to the queue for the plane to London Heathrow with my ticket and passport at the ready. I didn't turn around. It would only hurt more. My new life was awaiting me.
