Prologue
I had always been a quiet girl; blended into the background, and hoped not to be noticed. Life was okay, I was surviving; that was, until everyone found out my secret, and suddenly they all wanted in on my story.
I was the stereotypical portrait of that nerd: braces, glasses, unstylish frizzy hair, and straight A’s. I was bullied, nobody cared; I tripped and fell, nobody cared; I lost my essay, nobody cared; that was until I met him. He was the one who changed everything, and I did the one thing I swore never to do. I fell head over heels in love with the one person I thought I could never have.
