Chapter 5

*****Remus' POV*****

I stand beside Peony with the kids behind us as she knocks on the door. Feet come running and the door swings open to reveal my stick-thin sister-in-law with a smile. Petunia looks at Peony and her smile instantly drops. "It's you," She groans and signals for us to come inside. Ivy and Violet grip onto my hands as Peony leads the way inside. We're lead into the living room where our brother-in-law and nephew are sitting, watching TV. "Please sit. Would you like tea or coffee to drink?" Petunia fake smiles at us. "Tea please, Petunia," Peony smiles at her. "I'll have the same please," I say. I watch as Dudley walks over to the kids and Harry, sitting by them. "You look funny." He laughs. Ivy sends the round child a look before opening her book. Petunia returns to the room with our drinks and passes them to us. "So, um, are they all you-know-what?" Petunia asks, sitting across from us. Peony nods. "Ivy is in her first year, in the upcoming September, Asher and Harry will be going, then the next September, we'll be sending Violet and Noah," I explain. Petunia nods. "How do you handle having five kids at the same time?" Vernon questions, joining the conversation. "Only Ivy, Asher, Violet and Noah are our children. We took Harry in after he was dropped off the night Lily and James died. Harry? Come here please?" Peony says. Harry looks up from his conversation and quickly walks over. I smile as he sits by our feet and looks at Petunia. "He has Lily's eyes and smile." Petunia smiles with a hint of sadness. "Remus and our friend Sirius, who is one of James' close friends as well, told Harry about how they died. By the time I got home, he was always outside by himself. When I went to check on him, he bit back bringing up how I didn't know it felt to lose my parents." Peony explains. Petunia sends Harry a look as she stands up and hugs her sister. "Well, of course, you know what it feels like. I sent an owl to you and Lily with that owl you gave Mom and Dad for their anniversary after you both moved out. We were in their hospital room when it happened. I don't think we've cried that much in our life." Petunia says. "I've missed you Unia," Peony states. "I've missed you 'Ony," Petunia replies.

I wave goodbye to Petunia and Vernon with Peony as we walk away from their house. We grab onto the kids, Peony taking Asher, Noah, and Violet while I take Harry and Ivy, back to the house by apparition. As we land in front of the house. "Bedtime kids. We're all going for a picnic tomorrow, so you need to be properly rested," I tell the kids. Ivy, Asher, Violet and Noah quickly run upstairs with Harry still standing in front of us. He turns to us quickly and wraps Peony in a hug. "Thanks for taking us to meet Aunt Petunia. I'm sorry I yelled at you about my parents when you went through the same thing." Harry says. "It's okay Harry. I'll see you in the morning." Peony states. Harry nods and runs upstairs.

***Time Skip***

I open the door as Hagrid knocks on the door to alert us that it was time to go to Diagon Alley. Ivy, Asher, Harry, Violet and Noah all run out the door and Peony hangs back pulling on her coat. I hold a hand out to her and she instantly takes it. I pull her outside and lock the front door.

I laugh as Peony walks out of Ollivander's with Asher and Harry with a frown on her face. "Harry nearly blew the whole shop up while trying to get his wand." She states. I smile and pull her to my side in a form of comfort. "Be lucky it wasn't your wand," I say. "I had to get a new wand. I'm most definitely not happy," Peony scolds, showing it to me. I kiss her forehead and rub her arm in a soothing motion.

 I walk Harry, Asher and Ivy to the train, seeing as Peony had to leave the day before and Sirius is looking after Violet and Noah back at the house. "Asher. Be sure that if you want to see Mom during school, you can join her with her all of the extra-curricular activities. The same goes for you Harry." I explain. They nod and watch as Ivy runs through to the platform.

*****Peony's POV*****

***Time Skip***

I finish marking my papers when the door creaks open to reveal Ivy, Asher and Harry in the doorway. I signal them over and they quickly come running. They wrap me in a hug and I laugh lightly. "Thank you for that. Now we should be heading down to dinner." I say. Ivy and Asher quickly pull me out of the classroom while Harry pushes me along.

I wake up the next morning to my alarm clock going off. I climb out of my bed and instantly get ready for the day. A knock rings out and I head to the main door/portrait of my living area. I push it open to reveal Professor McGonagall with her arms crossed. "Harry is in the Hospital Wing after he, Asher, Hermione Granger, and Ronald Weasley went to find the Philosopher's Stone. Harry had an incounter with Voldemort," She explains. I place a hand on my forehead and nod. "I'll head straight down there now, thank you for alerting me, Minerva," I say. She nods and walks away. I grab my cloak and quickly walk out of my living area and straight to the Hospital Wing.

Asher and Ivy stand with Ronald and Hermione by the entrance of the Hospital Wing as I arrive and they look at me in shock. "I'm not letting you come inside. So I suggest you go to breakfast," I state. They frown and walk away quickly. I push the doors open and instantly spot Madame Pomfrey making one of the beds. "Peony! Great to see you dear, I sent Minerva to send you here so you could watch over Harry while I go to retrieve more medical equipment out of the school. He should wake up around lunchtime, so give him the medicine on his bedside table," She explains. "Of course, Poppy. Don't worry about making the beds, I'll do it for you," I say. She sends me a grateful smile and we switch places.
