Chapter 1: A New Friend

"Mom I don't wanna move" said Lauren as she swished her brown and purple streaked hair around to see what the really anoying sound was of course it was alex her 3 year old brother he was playing with his cars and making the rum rum rum sound "hey Alex can you stop your really anoying sound" said Lauren in a soft voice, Alex looked up and made a sad face and started to cry Lauren smacked her head like oh no "I know you don't want to move but don't blame your brother" said the mom"mom" said Lauren turning around and stomping to her room. When Lauren reached her room she sat down on her purple bean bag chair and started to put books in a box and other stuff and after she packed she went out and put it in her dads black ford. It was 10:00pm and Lauren, Alex, their mom and their dad left their old house and started to drive to their new house "dad how many hours till we get there" asked Lauren "10 hours" replied the dad, a few minutes later Alex and Lauren fell asleep and slept till 8:00am "kids were here" yelled the father "who what" said Lauren as she jumped "were here" said the mom "oh ok" said Lauren "mommy I tired" said Alex "come on" said the mom as she lifted Alex into her arms and into the house "Lauren go pick your room before you know who wakes up" said the mom "ok" said Lauren "mommy who is you know who" asked Alex "oh just Karl the kagaroo" said the mom "ok mommy" said Alex. Lauren found her room and unpacked ding dong ding dong "Lauren get the door please" said the mom "ok"yelled Lauren as she ran down stairs and to the door "hello" said Lauren as she opened the door and saw a girl with light brown hair and green eyes "hi I'm Kate from across the street and I wanted to say hi and welcome to amber town what's your name" said Kate "I'm Lauren what school and what grade are you in" asked Lauren "oh I'm in amber high and in grade 7" said Kate "oh really me too" said Lauren " how about the both of us walk to school tomorrow together" said Kate "that sounds great see you later" said Lauren "see you" said Kate as she ran back to her house and Lauren shut the door and went back to her room.

Chapter 2: AmberWood High

Ding dong ding dong "coming" said Lauren as she slipped on her jean jacket and grabbed her bag and headed toward the door, Lauren opened the door and saw Kate in skin tight blue jeans and a blue ruffled shirt and over top a red jacket "ready to go" asked Kate "yep lets roll" said Lauren "ok" said Kate with a smile. The girls got to school, and Lauren headed toward the principles office, "so what's your name" asked principle Luna "Lauren lily rose" said Lauren shyly "do you know anyone yet that you'd like to show you around" said principal Luna "Kate" said Lauren clearly "ok then follow me" said principal Luna as she got up and walked out of the office with Lauren and showed Lauren her locker and then they went to home room. "Class I'd like you to meet Lauren" said principal Luna as Lauren walked in and her purple dress swished back and forth as she walked and when she turned to look at the crowd of kids she started to blush and she saw Kate and her eyes stopped on a boy with red hair and green eyes and when they met eyes the boy blushed also"Kate after class you will show Lauren around" said principal Luna as Lauren walked to sit in the empty seat near Kate "I see your little love action with Henry" whispered Kate "who what who's Henry" said Lauren "the kid you were staring at" said Kate "oh" said Lauren "he totally likes you did you see how he blushed" said Kate "what no he can't like someone like me I'm all ripped up clothes and sneakers with a dress how would some red firie hair green eyed cutie like me" said Lauren "ha you like him" said Kate "ok you caught me so who do you like" asked Lauren "see over there the boy with black hair and blue eyes sitting beside his best friend Henry" said Kate "ya" said Lauren "ok ok his name is tommy" said Kate "tommy nice name" said Lauren "ya" said Kate ding ding ding "what's that mean" said Lauren "lunch" said Kate as they got up and headed toward the lunch room. Lauren got a hamburger and fries while Kate had spaghetti and Garlic bread while they were eating Henry walked over " so Lauren" said Henry as he scratched the back of his head "yes" said Lauren as she looked up from her burger "so do you want to do the science project together" said Henry as he blushed "sure id love too" said Lauren "no fair" whispered Kate into Laurens ear "oh Kate tommy was too nervous to come over here to ask but he's wondering if you want to do the science project with him" said Henry "of course I do I mean sure" said Kate as she gave tommy a little wave and he gave her one back "how about tonight at my house we can all work on them" said Lauren "ya" said Kate "of course for me but I have to see if tommy can he plays hockey so ya and I have no soccer so I can come" said Henry as he walked back to his table. The girls started eating again and this time tommy walked over "so I have no hockey tonight I can come to Lauren's but me and Henry are wondering were it is" said tommy shyly "you know we're my house is" asked Kate "yes" replied tommy "well it's right across the street" said Kate "I'll hang a poser on my house that says science project beware" said Lauren "ya that's great since it's so close to Halloween" said tommy " and my birthday" said Lauren as tommy gave a smile and looked toward Henry "what day" asked tommy "the twenty second" replied Lauren "talk to you guys later" said tommy as he walked back to Henry.
