The Forgotten Prince

"Somebody, save me from this boring Hell. . ."

This is the story, of a fiend trapped inside a room. The only thing keeping him inside that room, was a few walls, and a devastating curse. This curse was laid upon him by a fierce warlock, who persuaded the boy that if he gave him his parents, he would give him power. This sad boy excepted his fine bargain, only to receive a wicked curse that turned him into a fiend. You see, this foolish hellion was once human, and a prince at that. He was only a wicked 8 year old when he made the deal with this warlock.

When he became a fiend, his parents became ill, and passed on the next few days. The warlock took the souls of the boy's parents, and used them to restore his power. He then cast the whole kingdom into darkness, and all of it's people flew. All of them except the boy. While the people fled, the warlock locked him in the tallest part on the castle. "You will live out the rest of your foolish life here, at the top of your kingdom. The only way you can ever leave, is if someone finds this room, and unlocks the door out of their own will. . ."

The boy became outraged, and murdered the warlock on the spot. The warlock's soul then beamed from the top of the tower, insuring the price of everlasting darkness. The boy continued to sit on his bed, and claw into the wall the number of days that have gone by. He sat at the perk of his castle in a room, with no windows, no chimney's, no ways of escape.

One day, he finally gave up the thought that anyone would ever come, that anyone would ever save him. So he just laid on the middle of his floor, listening to the sounds all throughout the castle. Listening to them for just one last time before he took his life. He remembered all the sounds he would hear everyday, a mouse scurrying across the floor, a creak of an old piece of wood growing weak, the whoosh of the wind that taunted him with its freedom. But there was one sound he had not heard in a long time. . .
