I woke up in my room, my head in Dallas' lap. I looked up and she was signalling me to be quiet.
"We can't send her to TK! She's 16 mom, we can't give up on her!" I heard Demi yell.
"Dem, I'm not saying we're giving up-"
"No! That's exactly what you would be doing by sending her there! just let her live with me in LA. I know I can help her. Please mom, just give me a chance."
"No."
That's all I heard before I got up and walked into the hall. They kept arguing. I looked up at Dallas, who was supporting me since I lost a lot of blood. She nodded.
"Shut up!" She yelled. I smiled at her.
"Mom, let me live with Demi. Please. I want to get better. I wouldn't survive at TK. Demi can help me recover, she was already helping me. I was getting better, but relapsing is a part of recovery. We'll get to what made me do that later, just please, give her a chance mommy." I said, wiping away a few tears.
Demi came over to me and pulled me into a hug. She held me tight, telling me how sorry she was, I just shook my head. It wasn't her fault, it was mine.
"Fine. She can live with you Dem. Just promise me something?" Demi nodded, not letting go of me. "If she gets worse or resists recovery, think about TK. Please?" Mom said, getting all teary-eyed.
Demi nodded, then looked down at me. "How ya doin baby girl?" She asked.
"Alright. Can we go back to bed? All three of us? I have to tell you something."
They nodded and we went to my room, closing and locking the door. Demi sat down on my bed and I layed my head in her lap. Dallas sat next to Demi, both of them playing with my hair. I smiled, then turned serious.
"Okay, so I'm sure you two are disappointed and have questions, but I have a few too. One, Dem, why did you tell mom I shouldn't go to TK? She obviously wants me there, why not just let me go?" I asked. Sighing, Demi stopped playing with my hair.
"Babe, you're 16. Don't get me wrong, you're incredibly strong, but you wouldn't survive there. it's hell. Yeah, it gets easier, but I could barely handle it. I didn't want you to go through that too. I felt like mom gave up on me when her and dad sent me there. I hated them for it. I don't want you feeling the same. I love you."
"I love you too Dem. By the way, Dem, you carried me out of the bathroom, didn't you?" I asked, trying to recall the past few hours.
She cracked a small smile, "Yeah, it was me baby. I hated seeing you like that. Never scare me like that again. Please." Demi pleaded. I nodded.
"Next, What time is it? I'm starving." I asked, looking at Dallas.
"Uhm..4:45. Can you wait til dinner babe? If not I can go get you somethin?" Dallas asked.
"Nah, I can wait Dal. Last one guys, where's my phone?" I asked. Demi pulled it out of her back pocket.
"It's been going off nonstop since you ran away from me. It fell out of your pocket when you got out of the car."
I took it from her, and unlocked it. Seeing the apps move as soon as I unlocked it made me dizzy. I handed the phone to Demi and told her to tell me what was going on.
"Three texts from Luke, two from Allie, thirteen from Max, I'm assuming he didn't know you dropped your phone." She told me. "Two missed calls from Luke, ten missed calls from Allie, and one missed call from an unknown number." Demi replied.
"Delete Allie and Luke's contacts, I'll tell you why in a minute. Call the unknown number back and put it on speaker please." Demi nodded.
"Kenzie?"
