PREDISTINED
For the first time today I opened my eyes, blur shifted to clear as I gained my vision. Dreams succumb to the sudden rush of reality. I am now awake.
A whirlwind of colors came dashing into me. All of the sudden I shut my eyes in hope for something, something far within my reach, something I don’t know. But reality came screaming in my mind that I should get up and start my day.
I got up and peeped at my window, I was blinded by the light. It took me a moment to have my sight back. Colors emerged and I could see everything clearly now.
It was year 2023 and I have been living in the portals of Manhattan, New York City, immediately aft6er graduation I took a job in homeland security as their head medical technologist major in forensics. Although the path that I took was scientific in nature, I am glad that I still get to write and contribute columns and articles for the local newspaper and magazines and couldn’t be too far away from what I love doing.
Suddenly as I was lost in the moment of reality my I phone 9s beeped. I took the liberty to see who texted me when a smile formed my lips, it was my former best friend AZLEY MAE. A RAFOLS, we have been best friends for more than 10 years and I am happy to hear that she is now a renowned doctor specializing in internal medicine and from what I heard she is one of the top 10 doctors in Asia who brought forth glory to our beloved country Philippines. She texted me to attend a gathering wherein all of my FAIRYGAY family would be present.
The idea that I would get to see my 22 family members thrilled me, it has been 10 years since I last saw them, we were in college back then and were predestined by fate to meet and thus the name fairy gay family was born.
I boarded a plane to Hawaii as I was heading for torniado’s HAVEN RESORT, whose owner is one of the fairy gay members CLYDEE TORNIADO, CLYDEE who was the richest of us all is now a multi-billionaire owner of 5 five star hotels and restaurant around the world.
The sky was serene and the sun has just risen when I heard the captain speaking. Because of some engine trouble we were to make emergency landing in Los Angeles. We were billeted at Beverly hills’ and bungalows now owned by the most famous engineer NECOLE CLIFF M. TEJARES, he was one of the fairy gay and I blushed as I remembered that he was my crush and he was always the subject of my diary back in college. I felt hungry and walked towards a restaurant. I order a luscious main dish and realized that JANY was the chief chef of the restaurant and owner too. Although the restaurant that I was eating at right now is just a franchise of the main restaurant in Paris, I couldn’t help thinking that I was eating jany’s recipe.
A television was flashing news in the far corner and I heard the familiar voice of Noli de Castro as he presented some members of the fairy gay, MARLOU E. KHO, MARL SYMON KO, RICHARD JEAN REY KHO and CHRISTIAN JAY KHO. The kho’s I mentioned made a big break presenting some line of clothes from bench were the four of them is in contract of modelling, i shook my head in approval that they became more handsome as ever and my thought wandered to my bestfriend who had a major crush in marlou when we were still in college, and i was glad to hear that they are now happily engage. not only the kho's are models they have also contributed greatly in the advancement of technology and infrastructure. they belonged to the biggest developing companies and earned thier ranks among the top engineers and radiologic technologist around the globe.
suddenly as i head out of the resto i noticed some billboards flashing some of the fairy gay members. DR. SINFORIANO CABAHUG III, DR. VENCY SCOTT ENGHOG, DR. CULLEN JAY LAPLANA, DR. LORENZ JAY P. BAILO, DR. RENZO DAAYATA and DR. LUIGI DAGONDON. They are now the top doctors who are working on a collaborative project and very confedential research with the chicago doctor's association to look and search for the new found heart diesease. They are not only famous for bieng doctors but also for bieng the most sought after band GORYO.
as i head out towards the airport and catch another flight to hawaii, i met 4 members of the fairygay family. CLARK ENDRINA, LANZ LIPAYO, XERXES VIVARES DACULAN and NOAH ECHIZEN. CLARK was my ochibi (bunso) in college, he is now a computer analyst and a world renowned graphic designer and web developer in a promising telecommunication company. XERXES, LANZ and NOAH are also famous engineers and are the owner of the F airline company, in fact we are now heading there together to ride one of their private jets to hawaii.
as we made a safety landing in the coast of hawaii, we met DR. MARVIN SOL CALACAR, a fairygay member, he just attended the world doctors conference in florida U.S.A just a week after the convention in london. he who is an owner of 5 hospitals around the world now enjoys a married life.
as we enter the resort the cozy feeling started wrapping us. although it has been like 10 years things were pretty much the same. we met the rest of the fariygay members REX ABIAN and LORD DOMINI ANDALE. they too were successful in their careers.
we chat and laugh like old times, suddenly my phine started beeping again and as i was about to answer it there was a sudden thud on the floor. i realized it was me who had fallen on the polished wooden floor. so it was all just a dream, i sighed because it was such a lovely setting.
IT IS FASCINATING HOW FATE CAN INTERTWINE 23 DIFFERENT LIVES TOGETHER AND EARNED THE PLACE OF BEING SOMEBODY IN OUR SMALL CORNER OF THE UNIVERSE. WHATEVER HAPPENS 10 YEARS FROM NOW, THE FACT STILL REMAINS, WE WILL NEVER BE ALONE, FOR WE HAVE EACH OTHER TO LEAN ON. BECAUSE WE ARE
