Last time : Everyone's gaze was burning her skin as she reluctantly and cautiously picked up her pebble. She slowly looked up at everyone and sighed. She walked over to the piles of pebble and put her pebble.....

Dark thoughts spun in her head. She was unsure of her decision now that it was up to her. A quivering feeling rose from her stomach spreading to her legs, she took in a deep breath and closed her eyes while everyone stared at her with curious and piercing eyes.

As quickly as she could she ran over to the leaders side, placed her pebble there and said in a loud voice "The votes have been made! Our group of to be's shall have leaders!" She spoke yowls of protest and excitement arose from the crowd. Snowfall and Tiramisu ran up to her, "you can't do this!" "We have to make decisions as a group!" They protested to her face. "Well it was my vote and I voted for leaders" she said smoothly. Their wasn't really any way to get her to change since the votes have already been made.

"But... Who will be our leader?!" Someone asked from the crowd. Everyone turned to Ember and asked the same thing. " I-I uh...um..." She stuttered, she didnt think that through actually " I WILL" yelled a voice, it was Sparrow standing at the top of a large rock. Everyone stared at her and murmured their opinions. "Isnt she a bit reckless?" "Too quick to make decisions for my taste" "she'll go mad with power" Ember heard voices speaking behind her " I think Ember should be the leader"

M-Me?!?

She turned over to see Jaywing looking at her with his steady gaze "after all it was her idea to vote and she seems to be able to control our group very well" he said still looking at her. People around him agreed looking at Ember, she looked away not sure if she was ready to be leader
Am I fit to be a leader?! She asked herself. Suddenly the old mans voice rung in her head.

"Ember, you are a brave to be and face many dangerous things on this journey, this will be difficult but you must face them with courage and lead your group back home. with all your fellow to be's encouraging you, you will make it through."

"I must lead my group back home..." She breathed out as a whisper. She looked up at Sparrow who was staring down at everyone explaining something to a group of angry to be's , was this what he meant? She asked herself. She walked up to her and exclaimed "Who said you're the leader? You can't just say that you're out leader its not fair! What if we don't want you to be leader?" She said. The to be's looked at her in shock with Sparrow looking shocked and angry and her. Scorch walked over to Ember and whispered in her ear "Ember w-what are you doing!?" He whisper-yelled. "Giving everyone a fair chance." She said stubbornly. Scorch took a step back in shock the looked up at Sparrow who was shocked and angry at her.

How dare she question me?! Of course everyone wants me as their leader. Sparrow thought to herself as she looked around all the to be's expecting the to be angry at Ember as well.

Ember looked around a couple to be's had a angry look on there face "what do you mean?! Shes a perfect leader!" Yelled Crimson. Sparrow puffed her chest out, clearly flattered of Crimsons comment. Scorch nodded slowly.

"Well I for one think if there's gonna be a leader, its gonna be Willow..." Said Tiramisu.
Willow slowly walked up to the rock and stood next to Sparrow. Sparrow was glaring daggers at Willow but she didnt care.
"I appreciate being some of your selection as leaders and if I may I would be glad to lead our group to victory." She said in a smooth confident voice. Sparrow's eyes practically lit (a/n: Heheheh "lit" :3 justreading980 ) up in furry. "We won't need you on this stone because we wont need you as leader!" Sparrow said staring daggers at Willow trying to keep control of the anger blazing in her eyes. Ember could feel some to be's gaze on her, as if expecting something from her. " I say it should be Ember" Jaywing tool a step forward and placed a cool hand on her shoulder. She flinched at the touch but aloud it. Sparrow's furious gaze turned from willow to Ember "you aren't worth being a leader" Sparrow spat at Ember. Ember flinched again confused at the sudden hatred against her from her old friend. "What has gotten into you" she spoke out loud without realizing it. Sparrow leaned closer and closer to Ember and whispered "Responsibility, something you'll never understand" she grinned. Sparrow obviously forgot of Jaywing's presence because he coughed loudly for her to snap out of it. Sparrow looked at him and slowly stood back up on the rock." As I was saying, I believe the proper leader is Ember" he said with a cool tone. Sparrow gave a grunt of disgust and looked away. Ember stepped up on the stone next to the two and spoke again " we have three potential leaders on those stone, the question remains, who will it be? I believe we should cast another vote."
