The once beautiful ocean is now just a thick layer of crimson red. The emerald fields are littered with the lifeless bodies of love. One moment a perfect life granted just to be gone the next. Hidden children who now will never come out are stuck in this undesirable wasteland. The last strand of hope broken and everything barren yet burned. The tears have dried up as most the water is gone, and the darkened skies never light up. Just as the marks on your face were never washed away. Somehow your face defied the sky and your eyes still held the only thing I needed. Yet as the world faded so did you and even with no water left your memories were washed away. The one thing I needed just like all life in this universe ripped away.
