Soon enough the two eldest fell asleep still holding hands and their heads resting on one another, the rest of the Homato clan began to worry about the two eldest mutants and went into the lab only to smile at the adorable sight.
Leo with his head on sky's head and her head on his shoulder...their hands entangled with one another and small smiles on their lips.
Sky began to stir and opened her eyes not moving from her position she just looked at the Homato clan, Splinter smiled warmly and spoke in a soft voice "Go back to sleep Sky....you'll need your rest."
The female dragon nodded before snuggling into Leo who tightened his hug slightly as she fell back into sleep. The three younger turtles and their father smiled at the sight once more happy to see the two eldest FINALLY getting some well deserved rest.
The morning sun soon made itself known as it peeked out of hiding, bathing the city in a warm blanket of light. The inhabitants in the city were soon buzzing around getting to work or school, the surface was covered in people rushing around but meanwhile underground in a certain secret lair things were just getting started.
When Donnie woke up he immediately went to the lab to check on Leo and sky only to find their cots empty, of course panic took over as he ran around the lair looking for the two eldest. Sometime during his frantic search the other two youngest turtles joined in to help him.
Soon enough the three youngest found the two eldest in the dojo training, three emotions flooded through them...anger...relief...and annoyance. Raph yelled at the two eldest "What do you think you two are doing?!"
Leo and Sky looked over to the door and sighed having hoped to get back to the lab before anyone woke up, "Leonardo my son we understand your thirst to train but you are injured you must rest," the smooth calm voice startled everyone except Leo and Sky who had seen him enter the dojo from his room.
The two eldest lowered their heads and sighed once again....the bandages on their bodies tinted red slightly. Donnie walked over to the two eldest and looked at the bandages, "Look you've already torn your stitches we have to fix them immediately or infection will set in."
Reluctantly the two eldest allowed the three younger turtles to drag them to the lab to fix their wounds, once that was done Donnie gave strict orders for them to stay in bed sadly.
Leo and Sky tried to refuse but that only caused them to wince in pain and finally comply, the two eldest sat on their cots silently as the brainiac turtle looked over their vitals.
After a few minutes the purple banded turtle was finished and spoke "You two are to stay on these cots until I give the say so got it?" With a sigh they nodded and leaned back into their pillows on the cot staring at the ceiling with bored expressions.

It's been around six days since the big battle with the Diablos, Leo and Sky had been given the say so from Donnie to start training again but they had to take it slow. The two eldest mutants were currently in the kitchen drinking some tea before they went to the dojo for training.
Mikey and Raph were in the middle of a very intense battle on a video game while Donnie typed away on his laptop, Splinter had left on the second day knowing that his sons and Sky would be alright.
April and Casey stopped by every once in a while, to just make sure they five mutants are alright. Other than that the secret underground lair had been pretty quiet, the five mutants had even kept an eye out for the Diablos and seeing if they were actually gone....so far nothing has come up and hopefully it'd remain that way.

When night rolled around the five mutants finally chose to go on patrol to scout out the city praying not to run into the Diablos. As the mutants ran across the rooftops they felt free....finally out of the stuffy lair getting fresh air.
The sky was clear as the moon and stars shown brightly, the female dragon and male leader lead the three younger turtles through the city swiftly. Leo and Sky would glance to one another every so often sharing a worried expression before looking back to the rooftops ahead of them, of course the three younger turtles noticed something was wrong with the two eldest mutants since they were tense and would flinch at every little sound.
Finally Raph snapped his voice echoed slightly causing the two eldest to frown, anger was clear in the hot headed turtle's tone "Alright you two tell us what's bothering you so we can get back to patrol because I'm tired of you two jumping at every sound you hear!"
Leo and Sky glanced to one another and sighed, the female dragon spoke in a soft tone "We are sorry it's just we worry that the Diablos are still around....we have fought them many times and killed Vincent just as many but he just kept coming back."
The three younger turtles now understood why their older brother and his female companion were so jumpy, sighing the purple banded turtle spoke "We understand your worry but don't worry there is no way he could have survived that kind of attack.....shell the two of you nearly died yourselves!"
The blue clad leader and female dragon couldn't help but smile at that, Leo spoke in a warm voice "Your right Donnie...let's just get back to patrol its pointless worrying over something like this," with that they returned to running across rooftops doing tricks over the gaps between them.
Silence settled over the city as everyone in New York seemed to calm down....the streets were deserted as were the sidewalks and alleyways, the only sound in the entire city was the soft sound of five pairs of footsteps rushing over the rooftops heading to no place in particular.
