•Cry's P.O.V.•
"Yea I guess that Marzia and I have been hanging out a lot, but we're just friends." Pewd's Swedish accent sounded through my headset. "Nothing serious or anything..." his words trailed off.
"Yea... Sure..." I laughed at the swede. "As if you could hang out with someone as hot as Marzia and not tap that."
"Shut up!" he yelled in reply. I could practically see the blush on his face even though I was tabbed out of Skype. I had obviously thrown off his game because only moment later he died by getting shived.
"Suck it, noob!" Ken boasted on his end.
"Goddammit, Ken! This is the fifth time, bro! Take it easy!" Pewds whined.
"Never!!!" Ken yelled in reply, shooting Pewds with a sniper rifle the minute he respawned. Pewds made a muffled noise on his end and I knew that he was biting his hand- a habit of his when he gets angry. "OH. MY. GOD. There's a jet!!!" Ken called in excitement.
"No, Ken! NOOOOO!!!" I heard Nanners yell from his end of the line. I was hoping that Ken would get the jet before Adam because Adams a total dick when it comes to GTA 5, but sadly he didn't get there quick enough. "WATCHA GONNA DO NOW KEN?! HUH?! HUH?! YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE!!!"
"Oh dear god WHYYYY!!!" I heard Len shout as his avatar began to sprint away from the jet that Adam was piloting. "No! No!" The words, 'Cinnamontoastk just got flippity flopped by Mrnanners' popped up in the top left corner of my screen and I couldn't help but laugh. "Why would you do that..?" Ken exaggerated the son in his voice which made me laugh even harder.
"Oh, damn its getting late." Adam said from his side of the Skype call. "Sorry guys but I gotta go."
"Yea I should go too. I got frisbee tomorrow and then me and the GF are going to a movie and all that jazz so..." Ken's words trailed off and were replaced by the strange noise that Ken always makes when he stretches. Everyone said their goodbyes and hung up except for me and Pewds who continued to talk, but in Skype this time.
"Why do you always wear that mask?" Pewds asked, pointing at his screen as If I could see it.
"I dunno. Just feel more confident when I'm hiding behind it I guess." I explained getting a chuckle from Pewds in response. "What?"
"Oh, I dunno. Hey! What are you doing for Christmas this year?" he asked with enthusiasm. I just shrugged.
"Dunno. Probably just watch shitty 'Christmas Classics' on every channel." I laughed.
"You should come visit me here in Britain!" he beamed into his facecam.
"Christmas is like- two weeks away, first of all, and second of all, where would I get the tickets? Shit's expensive, bro!" I laughed and my eyes trailed towards the jar that I kept on my dresser. It was about a foot tall and six inches wide- so fairly large- and filled to the brim with dollar bills of different amounts. I'd been saving up for five years now just for an occasion like this one.
"Yea, I guess your right." he laughed at his end but I could see that he wanted me to come pretty badly. I wish I could see him, but with the whole hidden face thing, I can't really go to vidcon or anything like that- which is pretty much the only reason that Pewds comes to the united states. "Well, I'd best be headed off. Meeting with Marzia in an hour, then gotta take the dog for a walk." Pewd's voice sounded into my headphones again, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Ok then. Bye!" I said into the microphone that was attached to my computer. He just nodded and waved until the notification popped up on my screen saying that he'd disconnected. I tabbed out of Skype and opened up a new window typing in Travelocity.com in the URL bar at the top of my screen. "I must be crazy..." I whispered to myself as I looked up flights to Britain. "When's the closest one?" I continued to talk to myself as I clicked on a flight headed there in two days and booked it. "Shit. I am crazy." I glanced at the jar on my dresser again. Surely that's enough. I shook my head and walked over, picking up the jar and spilling the contents on my bed and beginning to count it.
-----
I had a full thousand dollars left over after counting how much it was to book that flight. It was a great surprise to me that a jar like that filled with twenties could count up so high and so fast. I knew I wasn't thinking it through when I did book this flight, but it would be awesome to see pewds and I had nothing to do here in boring old Florida. I can't even go out and build a snowman or throw snowballs or anything because of the fucking weather here. I had only experienced snow once in my life time and that was visiting Ken four years ago. I began packing my bags, still in deep thought about how I was going to make this work. I smiled at the conclusion that I probably wouldn't...
...But who cares?
