Hey guys its Sunset and I just want to say thank you for choosing my book out of all the other books on here to read. Well anyways here is Chapter 1 of "The White Luna" Oh and up top on the slide, that's Cleo.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cleo's POV:
Its been about a week since my parents died from a car crash but I don't think they died from a car crash. There was something they died for. Because I am pretty sure they didn't die from a car crash because they were in the middle of a forest when their bodies were found and there wasn't a car to be seen for miles upon miles so I think they were murdered but of course when I tell the police that, they would say "There was no signs or evidence of a murder but there were signs and evidence of a car crash." Like what the fuck of course there won't be signs or evidence of murder, because murder's hide the fact they murdered someone by moving them from the crime scene or just take care of the evidence. It's basic Forensic science. I took a forensic science course and a mythology course my sophomore year of high school I'm a junior now.
Once my parents died I was told that's since I'm still a minor I have to live with my grandparents until I am at the age to were I can live on my own which is in a year great, the awesome part is that my grandparents don't live where me and my parents lived they live in Forks, Washington. The place with more forest than cities as I say. I guess it isn't that bad I mean it's where my mom grew up and lived. But she didn't meet my father in Forks, she met him in the one and only big apple or New York city, where I was born and raised. The one thing that sucks the most is that I have to get use to the forests and all that stuff, since I was born in the city, Forks is more like the country so it's a big change in my life and environment. Well I guess its ok, because I get to see where my mother grew up and go to the places my mother went and loved as long as its not places that you have to be 18 years or older to enter.
4 hours later:
Its been 4 hours since I left NYC I just arrived in Forks, Washington. Honestly I don't even know what my grandparents look like let alone know who they are. The last time I saw them was probably my 4th birthday party and that's when my mother stopped all contact with them and never really talked to them for god knows why. Honestly I don't really know why she cut off all connection and contact with her family in Forks, Washington. So like I was saying I have no idea who my grandparest are, what they look like, or where they are at. And of course I don't have their number so I can't call them and ask them where they are or if they are even here.
I got off the plane and walked into the Airport and my god, it was.... Not really busy honestly not that much people were at the airport unless they are picking someone up or leaving on a plane. I just kept walking while rolling my suitcases behind me looking for I don't really know who just waiting for my gut feeling to kick in telling me which one of these older couples are my grandparents. I then stop for a minute and look around me and that's when I see some guy just standing there looking straight at me it looks like he is staring straight into my soul I had a really really bad gut feeling about that guy and I also had a gut feeling that this isn't going to be the last time I see the guy. Just then I hear my name being called and turned around and saw this couple smiling and waving at me and calling me by my name.
