Of all friends that I have in this world
There is one who has always stood by me,
Always has she tried to make my life filled with glee.
It’s you who I look up to, mom
whenever I need any advice
Of all, you are the one most wise.
I’ve made a lot of mistakes,
I’ve given you a lot of troubles,
Yet you’ve always forgiven me for my sins
It’s now that I’ve actually realised I was wrong,
I know it took me too long,
but now that I know my mistakes
I promise that I’ll make you proud, at any stake.
I’m sorry for whatever wrong I’ve done
The respect that I have for you is more than a million ton.
Words will be insufficient to tell you what you mean to me,
Like you, it’d take me a thousand years to be.
I’m lucky to have someone like you,
All those times when together, we sing and dance and mew.
I’ll cherish it all throughout my life,
You aren’t just a mother, but my teacher, my friend, my guide
who has kept me strong at the time of my low life.
