Chapter 8 - Rest Day?

I woke up and saw Sandy looking at me. He smiled and clapped. As he gesture saying "I'm glad you're okay!" I smiled and feel a little dizzy but I'm much better now."Have you been waiting for me?" I asked. As I look at him. He nodded. I looked down and said "I'm sorry to waste your time." He gestured again saying "No need to be sorry, we're friends! That's what friends do!" I laughed and said "Oh no I gotta help North make the presents! It's the first day of creating the other toys!" I tried to get up but Sandy won't let me. "Why?" I asked. He gestured "You need to rest, just one day." 

"How will I rest I have many jobs to finish." I tried to get up again but Sandy didn't let me. He doesn't want me to overdo it, I really understand that. "Alright I'll rest for a while, but only till I recover." I smiled. He nodded and smiled. "I'll go look for Jack, stay here." he gestured as he went off looking for Jack. I can't disobey him because his my friend. So I decided to daydream.

After a few minutes Sandy got back with Jack. "Yuki are you alright?" as he ran to me. "I'm fine! I'm fine! You're too worried! I chuckled. "How can you laugh after you worked and worked day and night?!" He shouted. Jack was just worried. "Don't worry Sandy gave me a nice sleep!" I smiled. "He really knows how to pick my dreams!" I laughed.Jack sighed as he got up from the bed. "Thanks Sandy." He smiled. Sandy smiled and nodded. "W-Well I sure to need go off now!" as I get up. I feel dizzy. I fell, but Sandy hooked me up with a cloud."You should stay here with Sandy for a while. I need to set winter again." Jack said as he carried me to the bed again. Sandy gestured a symbol of a light bulb. "I'm going to make her breakfast." He said. So he went out."You need to be more careful." Jack said.

"I know that. Stop telling me." I said. "Jack..." I softly whispered as I sat on the bed. I leaned forward and kissed him. He looked paralyzed like he saw a ghost. His eyes widened. As I moved over I looked down and said "Y-You need to go now do you?"

"Y-Yeah." He said as he blushed like his gonna melt. "Bye."as he waved and flew away.

Sandy got back carrying many sandwiches with peanut butter, a glass and a water jar. "Woah Sandy! I can't eat all this. Help me!" I laughed. He smiled and nodded. We ate for a while. Sandy have got no problems about his job because he has many dreamsands going to many countries. He let the other guardians know my condition. Sandy watched over me the whole day. "Thanks for everything, Sandy.' I said as I hug him. He smiled and patted my back. Tears fell down from my face and I didn't know. Sandy looked at me with a "?" symbol on his head."It's nothing. I didn't even noticed that." I laughed. He smiled with a worried look on his face.

After I rested for a whole day I restored my energy and helped each guardian on their tasks. I helped North make toys, helped Tooth to collect the teeth, helped Bunny decorate the eggs, helped Sandy on bringing wonderful dreams to kids, and helped Jack spread winter to different countries. I was tired actually, so I went to my room and rested. Someone knocked at the door. "Yuki? Are you still awake?" It sounded like Jack. "Y-Yes! The door is open." I said. He opened the door and sat right next to me."So? What do you need? I asked as I look down."I just wanted to see you." He said as he moved over a little closer and put his hands around me and touched my shoulder."I'm sorry if I'm cold." He said.

"Why say sorry if I have the same temperature as you, dummy." I said. "And besides I love the cold." I added as I snuggle myself to him. It's warm but not that warm.... It's like a mid temperature of coldness....

"You seem really tired. Are you alright?" He asked. I was closing my eyes as I lean on him."Not at all." I replied. "Jack can you move far for a while. I just need to heat up." I softly said. He nodded and moved away from me. I let myself on fire and Jack was starring. After I finished. "Energy regained." I said and laughed."What was that all about?" Jack asked. I looked at him and replied, "It was my energy loader." I laughed.

"What?" Jack said while he was going near me.

"Never mind." I laughed. Jack sat right next to me and poked me.

"Man, your warm." He said as he touched my hair and face. I hugged him and his eyes widened.

Jack's POV

It felt really warm. It's the first time I felt this feeling. Yuki looked at me and said "Jack?" she was gonna say something but she didn't let it spit out. I leaned forward and kissed her. Her eyes closed and she wrapped her arms around my neck. After she kissed my cold lips she smiled and fainted again. I didn't panicked, but I was really worried. I watched over her until she wakes up. I wish she's okay.
