CHAPTER 6 : MR GOOD GUY

Me and Ryan waited Sandra, she's going back to her house to bring the box. Ryan played dart in my room, the arrow didn't stick in the board instead it hit my room door

"Damn it"

He picking the arrows in the floor and started it again and i just laid in bed watching him become frustrated.

"Guys" The door opened, Sandra must've been running all the way here, she's trying to catch her breath

"Jeezs,  could you knock first ? i almost throw the dart at you" said Ryan, annoyed. Sandra rushed to come in my room not bothering that Ryan scolded her,  "Here" She put the box in my bed "Let's go" , She took the card from the box and handed it to me

The light come with the moon

shinner as the sun

darkness will catch up soon

it will come if you don't need it

"Okay, it must be night time 'cause there's a moon" i said

"How about the light?, what it refers to ?" asked Sandra

Ryan and i shook our heads , "What it could be shinner as the sun?" said Ryan

"I don't think it refers to anything that is really shinner as the sun, i mean, what is the thing that possibly can shine as the sun?"

"What ? flashlight"

"Be serious Ryan !"

"I am being serious, at least i'm giving some ideas and you're not"

Sandra rolled her eyes again and suddnely her eyes bugged out she looks like remembering something or knew something

"Oh my god ! what if its gold ? it's make sense right?

"Well, it could be" i said , nodded my head

"Don't you guys realize what is this ? we are freaking rich !" Said Ryan, shout

"We haven't solve this code Ryan, after all we don't know where the gold is, well if the code really refers to gold " i said

There was a silence in a room. "Maybe we.." i said breaking the silence

"WHAT!" Shout both of them

"We can go to pawn shop and ask Mr. Jack about it, perhaps we have some closure to break the code"

"That's a good start then , should we go now?" Ryan asked

"It's almost dinner time, how about tomorow? we can freely go around town" Sandra suggested

Me and Ryan nooded to Sandra , because tommorow is Saturday, means that school out so we can start in the morning.

"Okay, tommorow at 10 , we meet in the pawn shop" Ryan said

As i headed to the pawn shop, i see Sandra and Ryan already arrived "Hey, Guys",

"It's 10.12" Ryan said reminded me

"Don't be such a time freak" i parked my bicycle in the rack

"C'mon let's go inside" Said Sandra

As i thought, pawn shop in weekends is full of people, i see Mr Jack is talking to someone who sell his watch collection to Mr. Jack "Here he is" i  pointed my index finger to him

Ryan walk ahead of me.

"Good morning Mr.Jack" said Ryan

"Oh, hey Ryan you too Max" Mr Jack replied "And who are this little darling? " his eyes turned to Sandra

"Hello sir, i just moved to this town, my name is Sandra, nice to meet you" replied Sandra as she hand her hand out to Mr Jack

"What a polite girl, nice meeting you too Sandra" said Mr Jack, receive Sandra's hand shake, "So, what are you guys need today ?"

"Its about the magician sir, we would like to know about him more" i answered his question

"Why would you want to know?" Said Mr Jack in confussion

"We got another project for history class sir, we have to make a report about history and people in this town , so we think the magician is an interisting subject" said Sandra confidently

"Yes sir thats true" I said while look at Ryan and i nodded with confused look

"Okay then, i'll talk to you guys later, how about 12 o'clock , that]s my break time"

"Okay sir that's okay, i'm sorry for interuppting your work" i said

After that, we headed to bicycles rack. "Why are you lying to him?" Asked Ryan to Sandra

"I'm just lying about the project part besides the other part its true right?" Sandra said while she pulled her bike from the rack

"Sandra is right Ryan, we can't let other people know about the card and the riddle, its just beetwen three of us" i said

"Yeah and we can't trust other people" continued Sandra

"Isn't Mr Jack is a good guy?" Asked Ryan again

"We can not take a risk" said Sandra firmly and i nodded, aggreing with her statement.

"Well, i guess you right then" said Ryan
"So what are we gonna do in the next 2 hours" he asked as he looked at his watch

"Richie's?" I suggested

"Anyone who arrive last have to treat ice cream" Ryan get on his bike and start cycling his pedal. Leaving me and Sandra behind

"I want tripple scoop" said Sandra to me and she started to cycle his pedal

"HEY!" I shouted at both of them that already leaving me behind.
