"Flight one-one-four-seven, now boarding." A calm female voice came over the intercom.

I sighed as I pulled my rose-red suitcase behind me. Goodbye Frostmoore...

I handed my ticket to the man at the kiosk where I would board the airplane to take me back to my hometown of Petalburg City. Why did you have to lose that contest, May?

I pictured Drew's disappointment in me, even though I left before he could express it.

The airport was warm, but as soon as I stepped onto the plane, I was hit with a wave of cold air. I shivered and pulled my coat tighter around myself.

I ended up having to sit in between two other pokemon trainers. They were constantly talking to each other, which was terrible because they were constantly leaning over me.

They were loud, too... But I guess that if I were a ten-year-old boy with a personality like either of these two, I would be excited, too. They were discussing which starters they were going to choose. Suddenly, one of the short boys tapped me on the shoulder.

"Excuse me, Miss, but which starter did you choose?"

"I chose Torchic."

"And what type of trainer are you?"

"Don't ask her so many questions! That's stalking. Even if you do think she's pretty." The other boy scolded him, to which the boy with the questions turned red.

"I never said she was pretty!"

"Yeah you did." The other boy said. "You said you bet she was a pokemon performer because she was so pretty!"

"Okay, maybe I did! But that doesn't mean anything!"

I smiled and laughed. "It's okay. I am actually a coordinator."

"Whoa... Cool!"

"Yeah... I have to go back home now."

"Why?" This time, it was the other boy asking.

"I lost the Grand Festival finals..."

"Oh... That must have sucked..." The question-boy said.

"Yeah, it kind of did..." I smiled after that to keep a positive attitude. "But it's okay! There's always next year."

"That's a good mindset to have." The other boy said, smiling.

"I guess so. It's a little forced, though."

"Why?" Question-boy was back at it again...

"I don't know... I just have to think about it, that's all."

"Oh. Okay."

The stewardess' voice came over the intercom system. "Please stow away all of your carryon luggage and put your trays back up. We are now securing the cabin for landing."

I did as I was told and put my book back into my backpack and shoved my backpack under the seat in front of me. I quickly finished my hot tea and put the tray back up.

A few minutes later, the same voice came over the intercom system to announce that the cabin was secure. Whatever that meant.

Seeing as it was only my third time flying, I still had no idea what any of the things they said on an airplane meant. I just knew that we would be landing soon.

"It was nice meeting you, Miss. Good luck in your future contests!" The question-boy smiled.

"Yeah! Good luck!" The other boy said.
