          Narrator-

There was a girl who's name (it's actually me, but I'm gonna change the name) was Sophia. When she was little, her parents were doing drugs....a lot. Her parents split up, they were never married, and her dad went to go live with his dad as they were poor and were begging on the streets before, and since he still loved her he left her with everything at that house. Even what was his, and she was so incapable of living on her own, too many nights out spending money on drugs, drinks, sex, she couldn't pay the bills in that house and lost everything her dad has ever had. When she moved in with her parents she started rumors about Sophia's dad sleeping with other women, so since she was a "princess", everyone believed her. Meanwhile, her father was working every day and going to rehab and getting better. He still smoked, but he wasn't doing any other drugs. He was saving up money to buy a house and clothes for his daughter and son and some food for them to get at least a week out of non-starving mode. Once they were all saved up, keep in mind his kids were still months old so he had to watch them every second of the day. If their dad was going on a date, he had to see if they were okay with his kids coming too, because he didn't have the money for a babysitter, and as these were his first babies, he didn't trust them. He finally got enough money to buy all the things he needed and found his ex-girlfriend from highschool. Sophia was 3 years old and her brother, Donovan, was 4 when they went to pick up their new step-mom named Jennifer. They were so happy to have a mom! Later that day they brought her home.

At first they were having fun, a few yers later though she started showing her true self. When Jen found out that Sofia's real mom was still in love with her dad Christopher, and Chris was still in love with her. Sophia was so much like her mom Natasha, Jen started hating Sophia. Jen would throw her around, smack her, scream at her. One day Jen, Carter(Chris' and Jen's kid), Donovan and Sophia were all in the car(her dad was always working). Jen and Sophia started arguing, Jen screaming and Sophia quietly talking. Jen say's "Do you really think anyone has to care about you?" And Sophia replies quietly, for "no", for she is scared of her step-mom. Later that day Jen tells Chris what happened, but in the opposite tones. Slowly, Jen was turning Sophia's father against her.

When Sophi visited her mom Natasha (who still lives with her parents) was the only time she got to escape. Jen was constantly smacking Sophia, pulling her by the ear, spanking her, yelling at her over anything and everything. In elementary school she told her friends, then the teachers would over hear and since Jen's a teacher at Sophia's school, they would tell her everything that Sophia said, which would make her get yelled at even more. Her friends hated Jen too. She was a mean teacher, though a good one. In middle school, her friends would tell her to go to the counselor, but she already did. The school counselor told her that it's normal, and the "bad" stuff was too long ago and no one can do anything now. She already told her dad too, but then he would go talk to Jen and she would just say "oh, but I love Brooke, I wouldn't ever do anything like that to her! She's a liar! She's the one that hate's me!" And then her dad would get mad at Sophia for "lying". One of her friends even said, "If nothing else works, you're probably stronger than she is, now, so why don't you beat her up?" But Sophia has too much respect for her, after all, she did bathe her when no one else would, she cooked meals for them because her dad was always out late working, she bought them clothes because her dad doesn't have time to. So why would she ruin something that helped build the family? She loves her dad too much to take someone important away from him. She doesn't want to see him in any more pain than he is in already.

As Sophia got older and stronger, (and taller) than Jen,she started backing off a little bit, but it wasn't enough.
