Entry #7 - Unequally Yoked

This is actually a bigger issue than most think. We may have good intentions in a relationship, but if it is unequally yoked, they may not end well.
Say you start crushing on someone who is not a Christian, and you tell yourself, "Well, if I can show them Jesus, maybe they'll become a Christian!"
There is nothing wrong with that at all, finding pleasure in someone and wanting to tell them about God, but sometimes, we aren't strong enough in Him and aren't ready for this.
And if that person becomes interested in you as well, and you aren't where you need to be with God, your relationship with Him will start to crumble as your relationship with that person intensifies.
When I was last in a relationship, he was also Christian. But instead of that strengthening me in God, it weakened me, until I Spiritually backslid to have a relationship with the boy I liked. Even today, years after, I still find that it haunts me, some of the things I went through. Though I still have my virginity, I lost something very valuable and precious: my first kiss.
Even if the person is a Christian, they can still weaken your relationship and love for God. Be very careful, and notice when God says no to things in our lives.
Love you all!! Blessings and sweet dreams!!
