Luke Imagine for Jess

You wake up, warm and comfortable in Luke's arms. You guys had been dating for almost three years and you had been through so much together. You had been waiting forever for him to tie things up and get a ring, but you didn't want to rush things either. You still wanted the chance to be young.

"Babe it's ten," he said in his raspy morning voice. You untangle yourself from him and climb out of bed to take a shower. You hear him in the kitchen, clanking pans like he usually did when he tried to cook. He just never seemed to give up and accept the fact that he didn't know how.

Around noon, you were both up and about. Luke has planned for you two to go and hang out with the boys on this specific day for a while now, which was a bit odd. "you ready?" he asked once you both were in the car. "uh, yeah?" you had sat there waiting for him for several minutes. "right," he mumbled. He seemed awfully jumpy.

Once arrived at the park where the guys were meeting you, he jumped out of the car to get the door for you. He was being so weird today. "Luke you need to calm down." you told him. He smiled just a bit but tried to hold it back. "I am going to try." he said.

"The boys aren't coming, by the way. um I want to talk to you. " he said to you once you had gotten out and sat down on a swing. He pushed you for a moment before getting on the one next to you himself. "We have dated for a while.. and.. I don't think I could ever love someone else like I love you. You like, actually stole my heart. It's so cheesy but.. I mean uh," "Look we are married" you giggled as you swung in unison. "That's what I am saying. Let's get married. " You slowed down and jumped off. "Yeah let's do that," you smiled. You didn't even have to think. You pulled him up and he wrapped you in his arms. He gently pulled your face into his and cupped your chin in his hand, lightly kissing you with his soft lips. You rested your hands on his shoulders and smiled at him.
