It had been a long day, and Jayde was packing her the last of possessions. Her brother Jayson, strode into the room, "You ready?" He asked, Jayde nodded and picked up a huge box off the floor.
"Yeah, I'm so nervous, I just can't believe we're leaving," Jayde sighed sadly and attempted to walk over to the door, instead, Jayde tumbled over with all of her belongings falling out of the box. Jayson walked over to her, "Here," he said, reaching out a hand, "Don't worry, we'll be fine, it's just a little longer," Jayson said reassuringly, Jayde took the hand and grasped her brother into a hug and began to sob, "I don't want to leave, what will happen to mum dad? We CANT leave them!" Jayde screamed through tears.
"I know, I'm going to miss them too, but we have to stay strong if we ever want to see them again," Jayson hugged his sister tight, "I know," wept Jayde "I know," Jayde stepped back from her brother and wiped away her tears.
Jayson bent down and picked up all of Jayde's things, and carefully placed them back in the box again. "Go downstairs, we're going soon," Jayson reminded picking up the box and heading through the doorway to go downstairs. Once he had left, Jayde sat on the floor, fighting back tears. 'I'm going to see mum and dad again, I'm not going to lose them!' She whispered to herself, Jayde stood up, and headed downstairs. Jayson was already outside,
"Come on JayJay, hurry up!" Beckoned Jayson, Jayde began to head through the front door. She stopped, Jayde so badly wanted to turn around and say goodbye, but she knew she couldn't. Fighting back tears, Jayde lifted her head, and strolled on over to Jayson. "Let's go," said Jayson softly, Jayde nodded her head. Jayson put her arm around his sister, and they began walking....
'I will find you mum, I will find you dad, I won't let you down...' Whispered Jayde,
'I promise...'
