Nice to Meet You

Based on the fact that, whenever I'm listening to Born This Way, I imagine Bella helping and supporting all the LGBT Relativity Falls characters (Gay Ford, bi Fidds, trans Dipper, her own bigender self, ect). And then the one line where it's like "Keep your head up and you'll go far", I imagine Bella as a little one (like kindergarten age) walking into school on the first day, and well... just read.

BTW all of these are in the Relativity Falls AU.

"Have a good first day, Bella," The girl's mom told her.

"Ok Mommy," Bella smiled, "Bye-bye, I love you!"

"I love you too, sweetie," Her mom smiled back, giving her a hug. Bella walked into the school, looking back and giving the hand sign for 'I love you.' Her mom returned the gesture before Bella disappeared inside the school.

"First day first day first day," Bella beamed happily, walking down the hall, "Oh boy!"

She stopped suddenly, frowning. She could have sworn she heard someone crying. She looked around, spotting a small, dirty-blond boy. He was crying, curled up on the floor in the corner, hidden away.

"Hey... you ok?"

The boy looked up, sniffing and wiping his face off on his sleeve.

"W-who are you?" He asked shakily. Bella noticed that he had an accent. She liked it! "Y-you're not here to make f-fun of me, are ya?"

The boy shrunk away, and Bella frowned.

"That's a meanie thing," She said, "I'm not a meanie. Why are you crying?"

"O-oh," The boy said, "Everybody keeps m-making fun of me."

"What for?" Bella asked.

"I-I don't know- everything!" The boy sobbed.

"Pttb," Bella blew a raspberry, "Well that's stupid! My mommy said you should never do that. I'm sure you're a really nice person!"

"R-really?" The boy sniffed, smiling up at Bella.

"Yeah!" Bella nodded, "Hey, you wanna be friends? I don't have any yet."

"S-sure," The boy gave a watery smile, "I-I don't have any either."

"My name is Bella," The girl said, offering a hand to help the boy up.

"Fiddleford McGucket," He said, taking her hand.
