"I'm sorry, but this isn't working anymore." Those words that Calum had said had been echoing around in your head for the past few days. You thought he would love you forever. You thought you would be his wife. You thought you would be in his arms forever. But you were wrong. This was the day you were going to end your life. Without Calum, you thought, life was meaningless. You were carrying some rope and walking to the park. You were going to hang yourself on a branch on the tree Calum and you had met. He wouldn't care. You found the tree and started to climb it. Once you reached a tall enough branch, you tied the rope to it, and got ready to hang yourself. As you placed your head through the rope, you thought about the memories. The moment your head was through, you tightened the rope, then jumped of the branch. It immediately tightened, causing you to make a choking noise. As you started to lose your breath, you thought about Calum. The crinkles by his eyes when he smiles, his eyes, his voice, his soft lips. As you were going to take your breath, you thought, "I will always and forever love you, Calum."
*Next day*
Calum had received news that you had commited suicide. Your funeral was next week.
*Funeral*
Calum didn't get to speak, but he got to be alone with you for a while. As everyone left the room, he reached into the open casket and stroked your pale face. He started to tear up. "(Y/N), I broke up with you because I needed some space, but I never stopped loving you. I was thinking of getting back with you, but I was too late. Remember, I will always and forever love you, (Y/N)."
