Book One: Who Are You Series: Best Friends

Who Are You

( Emma's First Day of  11th Grade outfit )

Chapter One:
 

"Sooo good to be back! " I say while jumping onto Zack's back. I smile at the fact it's been 14 years, and August, Zack, and I are still friends.

"Yup! This year is going to be sooo easy! "
Says Zack. It's easy for him to say.  He's in the school's basketball team. He gets good grades only if sports count. He has girls all over him! Of course this school year is going to be easy for him.

August too. He's not as sporty and tough as Zack is, but he's super smart, and crazy cute. The school year is going to be just like a breeze to him.

Me on the other hand, I'm just a girl that's trying to get by. I might be recognized by some, but other than that I'm just "Zack and August's friend". I'm smart but my smarts won't compete with August's smarts. I'm sporty in some ways, but I really have no chance at all against Zack. I really have no chance at all.

" Can't wait to join the basketball team!  " August says as he's sitting down on the railings.

" Yeah, right. I bet once we're outside of the gymnasium you'll be running. " Zack says laughing.

Me and August both roll our eyes. " Maybe you can join the Art club, August. " I said with an innocent voice as I sit next to him.

" The art club. Really? " August questioned. 

" Please August! I'll be there. " I begged while giving him the puppy eyes.

" Ugh,  fine. You better be there! " He said.

" Yaaaaaay! " I yelled while hugging him tightly.

" Get a room guys! " Zack said with his cute and funny little giggle. He had always had that little giggle ever since we were kids.

Flash Back:

( 12 years old us 😪 : In school because we had to sleep the night for something )

( On the gym floors, while every kid is asleep. )

I was laying on my back, looking at the ceiling of the gym. I couldn't sleep. I got up from my sleeping bag, and crept over to Zack from across the gym.

I layed right next to him, hoping he was still asleep.

" You couldn't sleep. " I heard Zack say next to me.

" Yeah, it's so different than sleeping in my room. " I said

" Well yeah, your sleeping on the floor!  " He whispered loudly.

We both giggled. Which also was the first time I heard him giggled.

" Bro, your giggle sounds like a horse is dying with a cat! " I said dying laughing

" Hey, well at least mine doesn't sound like a-" he was cut off from the amount of whispers there were.

" Looks like I got the last word.  " I said quickly going to sleep.

End of Flash Back

" Come on guys. " I said swinging my arms around both of their shoulders, which was hard because they were so much taller than me.  I ended up on August's back.

" Let's do this! " I yell as August runs towards the front door,  which almost made me fall off of his back. Zack runs in the door before we do.

Yup, these are my boys.
