Chapter 7: Title is above (Part 1)

Now it was just Brandon and Callie to themselves. "That was an eventful day. I wonder what the next 5 months will bring?" Callie said. "I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it." Brandon said as he kissed Callie, pulled up a karaoke track and started to sing.

The Hospital (June 20th)
It was the next day and Callie had just woke up. Brandon had been staying with her through this whole thing. Callie felt the baby move and looked over at Brandon. He was still sleeping but Callie wanted him to feel.

"Brandon!" Callie said. Brandon then jolted his head up. "What! Is the baby ok!" Brandon yelled worried. Callie just put Brandon's hand on her stomach. "That's my boy." Brandon said. "Our boy." Callie said as she put her hand on top of his. "Our boy." Brandon said. Just then there was a knock on the door and Dr. Robins walked in.

"Hey Callie. How you feeling?" Dr. Robins asked. "Better. Did you hear the baby kicked?" Callie said. "Yeah your mom, Lena told me. I saw your family leaving as I was walking down the hall." Dr. Robins said.

"That's good. Wanna feel?" Callie said. "Sure. If you don't mind." Dr. Robins said. "No. Go on ahead." Callie said as Dr. Robins put her hands on Callie's stomach. "Wow. That's really something." Dr. Robins said as she went to get the ultrasound machine.

"Have you ever thought about having kids?" Callie asked. "I actually have a daughter with my wife. Her name is Sophia." Dr. Robins said. "So your..." Callie said. "Yeah." Dr. Robins said. "That's cool. She must be a lucky woman to have such a great wife like you." Callie said. "Yeah she is. She's the best. She is actually a Dr. Here also." Dr. Robins said.

"What's her name?" Callie asked as Dr. Robins squirted the gel on Callie's stomach. "Her name is Dr. Torres." Dr. Robins said. "Oh. The gal that fixed Callie's leg?" Brandon said. "Yeah." Dr. Robins said as she moved the stick around and came to their baby. "Well I would like to meet her." Callie said. "Me too." Brandon said.

"Ok. How about in 2 hours, when I come check up on you again, I'll bring her with me so you can meet her." Dr. Robins said. "Sounds good." Callie said. "Yeah sounds good." Brandon said. "Ok. See you guys in 2 hours." Dr. Robins said and left the room.

2 hours later there was a knock on the door. Dr. Robins then walked in with another Dr. "Is this Dr. Torres?" Callie asked. "Yeah this is her." Dr. Robins said. "Hi. I'm so glad to meet you Callie. Dr. Robins has told me so much about you." Dr. Torres said hugging Callie. "It's nice to meet you too. Thank you for fixing my leg. I am so thankful for everything you two have done." Callie said. "We were just doing our job. Congrats on the baby boy. Dr. Robins told me that your baby was a boy." Dr. Torres said.

"Thank you. I'm just glad that our little boy is healthy. Dr. Robins saved his life." Brandon said. "Thanks. Now I need to check up on you Callie." Dr. Robins said. "I'm gonna go. Bye Callie. Bye Brandon. It was nice to meet you guys. "By Dr. Torres." Brallie said as Dr. Torres left. "Ok so I need to see if you can stand on this scale. I need to check your weight." Dr. Robins said.

So with the help of Brandon Callie stood up and got on the scale. Then after that Dr. Robins took Callie's blood pressure, checked on her baby with the sonogram machine, and left. "Robert and Sophia can come In now if they want to." Callie said. "Ok I'll have to call them to come to the hospital." Brandon said stepping outside the room. He Called Robert and on the third ring he picked up.

ROBERT: Brandon? What's up?
BRANDON: Callie would like to see you and Sophia now. So if you want to you can head up here to the hospital.
ROBERT: Yeah. That would be great. We will be there in fifteen minutes.
BRANDON: Ok. Great. See ya soon.
