"Worst decision"

"Saying yes to our coffee date,"

There is a moment of silence as I grasp the coffee mug in hand a little bit tighter; leaving me to feel the warmth of the burning hazelnut latte I ordered. His eyes filled themselves with confusion and worry.

"Best thing that's ever happened to you?"

I manage to choke the words out of my mouth. I notice his body tensing up as he shifts in his chair. A pair of green eyes meet mine and the heat quickly rises to my face.

"That's easy." he smirks, "it's you, love."

Two people. One coffee shop.

Edward Gallagher is used to being alone. Not exactly "alone", but something along those lines. Sure, he had friends and a lovely family but he always reckoned there was something that lacked passion. His life, according to him, was boring, unadventurous, constantly constant and needed action.

Millennia Hay is a hectic mess. She never takes rests and is always out and about. With her dreams of becoming an editor in chief at one of the biggest publishing companies in London at steak, she knows no such thing as "rests". And although her life is all whirls and twirls, deep down, Millie knows that she needs constancy in her life.

But once their two worlds collide, they will do nothing more than face what they've gotten themselves into.

Love.
