Marhinki One Shot #1

Authors note: So this is the first fan fiction I have ever written, so don't expect to much from this. Also I will not be putting any foul language or smut in any stories (sorry if you wanted that). I will try my best to have good grammar and spelling but I can't promise anything. And yes, I know that Mari has a boyfriend and that they are very happy together, this is just for fun. So with all that aside, enjoy! ~Wolfie

      Third Person POV:

            6:00 am. *BEEP!** BEEP!* Mari's alarm clock goes off, interupting her dreams. She shutters at the thought of having to get out of her covers and go to work. After a few minutes of refusing she finally decides to get up. She walks over to her bathroom and does as little as possible to get ready. She grabs a muffin, her purse, and her car keys then heads to the Smosh Games office. When she steps inside the office she is met by six sad faces. "Whats' wrong? You guys are acting like somebody just got into a car crash! Oh yeah and where is Sohin?" Mari asks. Wes, Anthony, Ian, Joven, Flitz, and Lasercorn looked even worse after she said that. "Well Mari, um I don't know how to put this lightly. Matt's father had a severe heart attack last night around 11:00 and he passed away. Matt drove back home early this morning to help out his mother." Lasercorn stated, his voice barely above a whisper. Mari's face went from curious to sorrowful in a matter of seconds, she tried not to cry but as soon as the first tear fell, the rest did too. Matt was her best friend, he could always make her smile when she was sad, or make her laugh when she wanted to cry. But now, when Matt needed her most, she couldn't be there for him. And there is one more thing no one knew about Mari, she has had a crush on Matt ever since she first met him.

            After a few hours of bawling her eyes out in the bathroom she successfully made herself look like a hot mess. Her mascara was running down her face, makeup all over her clothes, and eyes red from crying. She heard a knock on the bathroom door, "Mari are you ok in there? We finished filming Backseat Gaming, but we need you to film Maricraft." Said someone from outside the door, probably Wes. "I'll be out soon, just give me a minute to clean up." Mari said chocking back tears. "Alright I'll see you in the office." the voice said as he walked away. 

             Mari got off of the bathroom floor and walked over to the mirror, " Oh my gosh I'm a wreck!" She said to herself looking in the mirror. In about 5 minutes Mari had fixed her hair, makeup, and got most of the mascara stains out of her clothes. She headed over to the office and sat down at her desk, getting everything set up to record. When Joven, Wes, Lasercorn, and Flitz were all ready they got started. "What's up guys welcome back to another episode of Maricraft...."

*TIME SKIP*

           "Thank you guys for watching and we will see you guys next episode!" Mari said, to mark the end of the Maricraft session. As she spoke the last words everyone let out a heavy sigh they had all been holding since they started filming. Before anyone could say anything Mari got up, got her stuff and left. She had to go somewhere, that wasn't there, and she new exactly where to go. She got in her car and drove, and drove, and drove. After hours of driving and only stopping for food, gas, and bathroom breaks she finally got to her destination. Jamestown, Virginia; the Sohinki household. 

              *Ding Dong* Sohinki heard the doorbell ring, "I got it mom!" he yelled across the house. When he opened the door he saw someone he never expected, Mari. "Hey Sohin, I'm sorry I just showed up randomly but I needed to talk to you." She said nervously hoping she wouldn't get rejected. "Oh no problem Mari, it's just I wasn't expecting visitors. But please come in, I'll tell my mom your here." Sohinki said, a little shocked at the purple haired girl standing in front of him. He let Mari inside and told his mom that he had a guest. 

                When he got back in to the living room Mari was pacing around. "Matt, I know you are going through a lot right now but, I have to get this off of my chest." she said, "It's ok Mari, you can tell me anything. We are best friends right?" Sohinki reassured her. "Ok. Ever since we met that day four years ago I have had the biggest crush on you," that caught Matt's attention, "you are my best friend, my partner in crime, you are my everything. I have wanted to tell you this for so long and at this point I just need to know if you like me back or not."  Mari spoke, finally being able to breath. After a few seconds of thought Sohinki did the thing he had been dreaming of since he met Mari. He grabbed either side of her face and kissed her. It wasn't a long kiss, but it was short, sweet, and passionate. Even though it only lasted a few seconds that kiss expressed a love that has been building for the last four years.

Authors Note: Well that was fun, for my first fan fiction I think that didn't suck. I hope that if you read this short story you enjoyed it. I certainly enjoying writing it. I hopefully will be writing some more one shots in this story thing, but I'm not sure yet. And with that I will sign off. ~Wolfie
