Part 19/ The four mafia members and the gold digger

"Wacha doing?" Hunter says looking up at me.
"Putting up decorations." I smile enthusiastically.
"Because...?" He asks.
"Its Halloween!" I shout.

"Oh,right." He waves it off.
"What do you mean,oh right? I thought you guys would be more exited for this day."
"Why would you think that?"  He says leaning against the wall.
I pin the spooky decorations on the walls with the ladder i found and shrug.
"Because everyday you have to pretend that you're human.And tonight you don't have to.You can be yourselves." I smirk.

"Very funny." He says with a little smile.
"So,what are we doing tonight?" I ask putting up the scary skulls.
"We have a meeting with a certain jackass millionaire." He smirks.
"But don't i see you everyday?" I reply sarcastically.
"Danny." He says.

"I know.But you fell right into that one." I shrug.
"I guess.We leave at 7.Wear something pretty." He says.
"Yes! I'm so looking forward to it." I say dancing a little.
"Why?" He says with amusement on his face.

"Because,i get to threaten him and have his balls." I say enthusiastically "Kinda like i did with you." I smile.
"I guess i walked into that one too." He smirks and i nod.
"You wanna order a pizza or something?" He asks.
"Sure." I say climbing down the ladder.

"But not from that place with the soggy breadsticks,i want...fuck!" My foot slips and i miss one of the steps,but Hunter caught me.
"Jesus! Be careful." He says looking at me.
I stand there for a couple of seconds and then nod,before he lets me go.

"Danny the place looks great." Shawn says sitting next to me and grabs a slice.
"Thank you.I love Halloween.The other holidays are usually just depressing." I shrug.
"We used to love Halloween when we were little.Remember when we pulled that prank on your neighbors." Josh says laughing.

"Yeah." Hunter laughs "Mister Fisher."
"What did you do?" I ask.
Asher laughs too and they start to explain.
"He never liked any of us.So when we went trick or treating,he gave us apples." Josh says.

"Please don't tell me you assaulted an old man." I look at them in horror.
"He was in his forties and we were ten.Chill." Shawn says.
"Okay.Then what happened?" I ask.

"He had this dog.So we took him and put a fake dog on his porch covered with blood,and rang the doorbell." Asher says.
"He came out and screamed bloody Mary.It was hilarious." Josh laughs.
"In that moment we threw the apples at him and ran." Hunter says.

"Did he call the cops?" I ask.
"Yeah.When they came,we were little angels watching TV." He shrugs.
"Oh please.If you're angels,I'm God." I say and they chuckle.
"He was shouting "They killed my dog officers.Arrest them!" But then Hunter just pointed behind them and said "That dog?" And he lost it." Asher says.

I gape at them and laugh "How did you pull it off?" I ask.
"Josh went out the back door and cleaned up the mess and let the dog go.We had our candy taken away that night,but it was so worth it." Hunter high-fives Josh.

"What did you do for Halloween Danny?" Asher asks.
I shrug "Mostly just dressed up as a slutty bunny or cat and go to frat parties." I say and they stop and look at me.
"Haley's Face Timing me." I pick up my phone and leave the kitchen.

"Hi." She says smiling.
"Hey.Were are you?" I ask.
"Jersey.I'm going trick or treating with my cousin's kids while she has baby number three." She says.
"Congratulations." I say.
"Yeah.We're really exited.I saw the pics you sent me of the house.It looks really good."

"Thanks.It sucks that i have to take them down tomorrow." I shrug.
"Just take down the skulls and spiders.Leave the orange leaves and pumpkins for Thanksgiving." she says.
"Thank you.Wish i would have thought of that." I say and she smiles.
