Part iii

I woke up the next morning, hopping I just had the dream of my life, but I was wrong - it wasn't a dream, it was all very real, and the reason I didn't get any sleep. I tried to push it out of my head," he has a girlfriend" I thought to myself over and over again. I thought it while I was in the shower, I thought in when I made breakfast, and I thought it in the car on the way to school. I was so busy thinking about it that I forgot to think about what I was going to say to him. Once I got to school, Kim came running at me all excited for a new day at school, " Wasn't yesterday great?" She asked
" Super," I said," what do we have first today?"
" Chemistry" she said. I breathed a huge sigh of relief. He doesn't sit anywhere near me...
* bell rings *
" Good morning, class" said Mr. Reynolds
" Good morning, Mr. Reynolds " said the class. I could see Jason looking at me from the corner of my eye.
" Right, so I have decided to make some changes. Avery, Camile, Jason, and Taylor - since you are the four student scoring the lowest marks, I am going to give you a new lab partner who's face you are not going to suck all lesson. Understood?" Added Mr. Reynolds.
" Mr. Reynolds, I don't think that is fair, Jason and I are great together, you can't split us up!" Taylor wined
" Watch me, Miss Scot. In fact, since you are the lowest scoring pupil, I am going to pear you up with the the highest scoring pupil. Kim, please come and join Miss Scot."
" Yes, sir" Kim got up from next to me and moved over to Taylor.
" Jason, you can go and join the second highest pupil...Sofie" he added. Just my luck. Mr Reynolds continued to move both Avery and Camile. He started his lesson.
" Hey" Jason said to me,
" Hi " I replied.
" Mr. Riley, Miss Blake, am I interrupting something?" asked Mr. Reynolds
" No, sir" answered Jason.
" Then you would have no problem answering the question on the board" said Mr. Reynolds
Jason, "umed" ,
" two grams of potassium Maganate, Sir" I answered
" Very good, Miss Blake " he continued. Before the lesson ended, Jason passed me a note
* Meet me at the gym after class? *
I replied with a sure. At first I was hesitant, but I needed to talk to him.
After the bell I grabbed my things and went to the gym. I waited for almost ten minutes and he didn't show up. Typical - it's happening all over again.
As the day went on I forgot about it as best I could. He came up behind me at lunch and asked to talk. I thought it would look suspicious if I had said no I front of Kim so I went.
" I'm so sorry I wasn't at the gym, Taylor caught me after class and asked me to go to the library with her. She dragged me off before I could say no." He said it in all one breath. It wasn't what I was expecting to hear.
" Whatever, the point is exactly that - you have a girlfriend. I won't have history repeat its self. What happened shouldn't have happened. Don't get me wrong, it was fantastic....."
" really," he smirked
" Stop it. The point is that it can't happen again." I told him,
" But it was so fun..." He moved closer. I bit my lip.
" No! This can't happen!" He kissed me anyway. I almost got caught up in it - I definitely enjoyed it more than I should have. I puled away, but once I didn't have his lips on mine anymore, I realized how much I wanted them back so, naturally I continued kissing him.
" Stop!" I pulled away once more, " you have a girlfriend - we cannot do this!"
" You're right," he came closer again, I had to resist, I had to - but I was weak. We kissed again.
" That was the last time" he said after we pulled away.
" Totally!" We walked in opposite directions. Once I sat down at the table with Kim she asked what he wanted. I wanted to say that he wanted to stick his tongue down my throat but instead I said, " he just wanted an opinion on what to get Taylor for her birthday".
