The boy next door!?

Chapter 1

~ Leilani's POV ~
* beep beep beep*
The sound of my alarm wakes me up I grab my phone from my bed side table and I check all my social media sites
My snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter after checking all of them I get out of bed and walk into the kitchen where my mum and best friend Maikayla is standing, my best friend Maikayla has lived with me for about 7 months now. Ever since her mum and dad were tragically killed in a car accident, my mum and Maikayla's mum were best friends from primary school, so when me and mickey were born my mum became Maikayla's god mother and Maikayla's mum became mine.. So now that her parents have passed away she lives with us..
"MAIKAYLA, WE ARE MOVING TODAY WE FINALLY GET TO LEAVE THAT SHIT SCHOOL" I yell to Maikayla
"I know I'm so excited" she says grabbing my hand and pulling me back to my room.
We've packed up everything apart from our beds and a few other things..
*skips breakfast*
After we all eat breakfast and have a shower we leave it about a 4 an half hour car ride.. It wasn't quite at all we had the music blasting the whole car ride.
Sure I'm super excited I'm moving leaving that shit school, but I am seriously going to miss all my friends
We pull over about 2 hours into the car ride so we can get some food and to go to the toilet.
*skip rest of the car ride*
"WAKE UP, WE'RE HERE" my little brother yells at me
I wake up an get out of the car
When I get out of the car I see this hot guy standing by his letter box he looks at me and smiles
"Omfg he has the cutest smile ever" I say to Maikayla loud enough for her to hear but not loud enough for him to hear.
I lean in the car to get my bag when I get back out of the car he's standing right behind me
He puts his hand out for a hand shake, I put my hand in his and shake back
"Hi I'm Taylor caniff, and I love there" he said pointing to his house
"Oh hi I'm Leilani, this is my best friend Maikayla and well yeah we've just moved in here" I say back to him
"Oh well hey welcome to the neighbourhood" he says to me and my family
"Thankyou" i say
"Um well I gotta go, can I grab your number? And I'll text you later"
He asks me
"Ugh sure it's *********" I say giving him my number
He put it in his phone and walks into his house..
The furniture truck hadn't came yet so we went for a drive past our new school.. It was massive, it was finally starting to kick in that I'm starting at a new school which means I'll have to make new friends
We go back to the house and the truck was there we all help unload everything and take it in side we all pick a room and then we put all our stuff in our rooms

After setting up our rooms I call Maikayla to come sit in my room
"Oi mickey what are your thoughts on the boy from next door?" I ask my best friend
"girl I think he's gorgeous, but he's yours" she says
We sit there for hours talking about, I end up finding all his social medias
" MAIKAYLA LOOK HES FAMOUS ILL NEVER HAVE A CHANGE" I say to Maikayla with a high tone in my voice
"What do you mean he's famous" she's asks me confused
"He fucking has 3m followers on Instagram" I say to her
I decide to google Taylor caniff
I read up about him and he started out on vine and he's made music, YouTube videos and he was in a group called magcon
As I was about to turn my phone off I go a message from and Unknown number
From Unknown: hey it Taylor from next door, do you wanna come over and chill with some of my friends? You can bring your friend
To Taylor 😍: hey yeah sure we would love too..
Maikayla your coming with me to Taylor's house
"Hang on weren't you just saying you'll never have a chance with because he's famous?" Maikayla says
"Yeah but that was before he invited me over" I say excited
"MUM ME AND MAIKAYLA ARE GOING NEXT DOOR WE GOT INVITED OVER" I yell out to my mum
"Okay sweetie make sure you 2 are home before 10" she says
we walk out the front door of the new house and next door to taylors house I knock on the door and he instantly opens it
" hey come in" he says
We walk into the lounge room and there are a whole bunch of guys and one girl
"Hi I'm jack Johnson"
"Hey I'm Aaron Carpenter"
"Hi I'm Cameron Dallas"
"Hi I'm jack Gilinsky"
"Hey I'm Mahogany Lox"
"Hello I'm Shawn Mendes"
"Hi I'm Nash Grier"
They all say one by one
"Hi I'm Leilani and this is my best friend Maikayla" I say back to them
We all start talking and getting to know each other and we all trade phone numbers
They all invited me and Maikayla to hang out with them at school when we start
I check the time and it's 9:48pm
"Maikayla we have to go" I say to Maikayla who was sitting on the a guys lap I'm pretty sure it was Cameron Dallas' lap
"Yep coming" she says as she hug him and he kisses her on the cheek
We head back home and we both go to bed as I was about to go to sleep my phone goes off it was a message from Taylor
From Taylor😍: hey I enjoyed tonight, maybe we could hang out tomorrow? Go get Starbucks or something?"
To Taylor😍: hey, I don't see why we couldn't
I reply to his message and he instantly replies
From taylor😍: goodnight 😊
I didn't reply, I put my phone down and fell asleep

~ Maikayla's POV ~
Last night before I went to bed I was messaging Cameron, he asked me if i wanted to hangout with him, Taylor and Leilani I said sure because I am already really attracted to him although I would never be able to get him.. He's famous and I'm not
I get out of bed and run to Leilani's room and jump on her bed
"LEILANI!! ME, YOU, TAYLOR AND CAMERON ARE ALL GOING YO GET STARBUCKS" I yell at her
"Omfg I know I'm actually so happy" she says to me
"There coming at 10 am" I say to her
*skip to 10*

~ Taylor's POV ~
It's 10 am and that's when me and Cameron said we would pick the girls up to go get Starbucks, I really like Leilani and idk what it is but I can't help it she's so out going, super pretty, great sense of humour and a really good personality.. I haven't felt this way about a girl in a very long time
I walk over to Leilani's house and knock on the door her mum answered
"Hi I'm Taylor caniff, your next door neighbour, I was wondering if Leilani and Maikayla were here?" I ask her
"Yeah they are I'll just get them" she to me
"LEILANI, MAIKAYLA TAYLOR CANIFF IS HERE TO SEE YOUS" she yells
Both girls come running out
"Mum me and Maikayla are going to Starbucks we'll be home soon" Leilani says to her mum
*at starbucks*
We ordered our drinks, went and sat down at a table and waited for our drinks we talked about random things and then got our drink we headed back to Leilani's and watched movies on Netflix for the rest of the day
I got Leilani to come to my house and meet my little brother Tristan who is the same age as her little brother jack
After she met Tristan and my dad Kev I walked her back home
"Enjoy the rest of your evening babe"
I say
"Did you just call me babe?" Leilani asks confused
"Maybe" I say and then kiss her on the cheek and the walk home.
