~Danii's POV~
The plane had just landed. Seoul, Korea. 3:30pm. I fixed my hair to not look like a crack head. Just minutes away till I meet my new family.
It's been a long flight from the U.K, since that's where I'm from. I'm a bit nervous. Okay nevermind, that's an understatement. I'm an adopted 16 year old. Lovely.
Someone finally adopted me. My biological parents abandoned me when I was 8. It's been pretty shitty ever since. I'm not sure why they did but the question of where they are at hasn't bothered me at all.
The experience of me being in Korea is new. Everything is different. I can understand some of the Korean language but not to the point where I know exactly what the signs mean around me, or what everyone is saying. Some people are staring at me. Those two boys to seem around the age of 10 are laughing at me. I'd be laughing too.
I decide to walk away before everyone started laughing. I'm searching for my new family. I walk down to a sign that seemed to say "B District" I thought I was lost till I heard my name shouted out.
"Danii!"
I turned around and there was my new family. Mom, Dad, sister and the boy who is my new brother, the one who was holding up the sign and overly excited to see me. That's... Surprising.
I walked up to my family.
I assumed that none of them speak English very well, but the sister and mother gave me a warm smile.
"Annyeonghaseyo Noona I am Hoseok!" Hoseok said.
"Um, do you speak English?.." I added.
"Er.. al su issseubnikka English? Yes, some," Hoseok said.
I could understand him there, thankfully.
"Okay. Well. I'm Danii", I said in a shaky voice.
"Yes. I know. My new sister Danii!" said Hoseok with a bright smile.
"Welcome. Follow me" said Hoseok.
Hoseok is really nice. He's very.. Energetic. But I think I could manage to learn more Korean as time flys.
I just wonder what will my new home look like, and most importantly, what my high school will be like.
