You, Sam, and Dean have been hunting together for a long time since Bobby introduced you all (you are Bobby's daughter) and you and Dean have been dating ever since (despite Bobby's complaints). In this hunt, you and the boys are uncovering the reasons behind the torturous, medieval deaths inflicted upon young men who are in a LARP group, you will also reunite with past allies along the way.......

Your POV:
"Alright so run it past me again. What exactly happened to Mr. Nelson, or at least what can you tell us based off of the evidence discovered at the scene?" I ask the coroner standing across from me as he opens up the enclosed freezer chest and rolls out a tarp covered body. In a swift movement, Dean steps forward from my side and pulls the tarp off the body to reveal a pale corpse with red markings around his neck, making it seem as though he'd been hung to death.

"Well, the only thing that we could conclude is that the man had to have hung himself, as you can see by the marks on his neck. The only thing that doesn't add up though is how he hung himself. When police investigated the scene, there was no rope, and no evidence that concludes self harm." The coroner hands me a clip board that I immediately pass to Sam, who looks it over and makes small notes in his pad. I look up and exchange glances with Dean who suggests, "could have been assisted suicide. I mean a lot of people trick their friends and even family into helping with these situations. Maybe he had someone help him set up then after the crime was committed, they cleaned up and left the body." I peek at Sam who nods slightly, then look back at Dean. We all know this is our kind of case but we need to make it seem otherwise for the public. I decide to play along.

" What about the tree on his forearm?" Dean walks around the table and examines the corpses arm. "Tattoo?" He suggested, still going with the act. I take the pad from Sam, who has not only copied all the notes down but has also taken a picture of the "tattoo". I nod toward the door and the boys start walking. "Alright then, we'll let you know if we need anything, and please give us a call if you find something". I hand the coroner a business card and follow the boys out of the morgue. When we reach the car, Sam gestures to the front seat and opens the door for me. Since Dean always drives, Sam and I switch off on shot gun, though most of the time, he takes the back seat with no complaint.

"Alright so what do we think killed this Ed guy?" I look at the boys who both seem to be contemplating an answer. We'd been on this case for two days and we haven't figured out shit. After a moment of silence, Sam clears his throat and speaks up. "Are you sure this is even our kind of case? I mean it could actually be an assisted suicide and you heard the coroner. There was no evidence except for the body, a bunch of medieval stuff, and his phone."

"Nah, I don't believe it. There's something off about this situation, I just can't place my finger on it right now." I reply while taking off my blazer, revealing my white blouse and the garnet necklace Dean gave me when he asked me out seven months ago.

When we reach the motel we're staying at, I get out of the car and tell the boys I'm gonna go to the market around the corner and grab a few things. Dean tosses me the impala keys and tells me to take care of "baby", then, after he kisses me and once they head inside, I hop in the car and leave.

As I walk around the market, picking up food items here and there, I contemplate what the tattoo meant and what could have caused Ed's death.

It just doesn't add up. There's no monster that could have done this. Its weird though how this man died from a very medieval kind of death while his apartment is filled with medieval collectibles. Although, his social media profile says he is part of a LARPing group so I guess that explaines the collectibles. Maybe someone involved with the LARPing group wanted him dead but he wanted to do it in a style that fit the overall scheme of their events, but it still doesn't explain the mark on his arm, I think while walking into an isle with liquor bottles, but I stop when one particular bottle catches my eye.

I reach out and grab the brown whiskey bottle and examine the design on it. It has a black tree that matches the design on the victim's body, the whiskey itself called Celtic Blackthorn.

Oh my god... no way, how did I not see that before, I have to tell Sam and Dean, I say to myself as I practically run to the checkout with the bottle in hand and after purchasing it, run out to the car and race back to the motel.

When I park in front of the motel and get out of the car, Dean comes out of the room to see if I need help with bags but all I do is grab the bottle of whiskey and sprint inside, setting it on the table in front of Sam.

"Look familiar?" I cross my arms and look at Sam. When Dean gets in the room, he looks at the glass bottle. "It's a bottle of Celtic Black thorn, I don't ge... ohhhh," Dean suddenly realizes what I mean when he sees the tree on the bottle.

"Celtic Blackthorn, I can't believe I didn't see it before. It's an old Albion symbol that was placed on the arm of those who stole sap from the tree of life, which was protected by the high order fairies of Albion. The symbol is a curse used as punishment and-"

"Anyone branded with it is doomed to death." Sam finishes off my sentence with a hand gesture indicating he knows the legend too.

Dean turns to me and raises his brow. "How do you know so much about this Albion stuff?"

I smile innocently, "no reason."
