Chapter 1: Yeah, great name...

I stepped in the taxi cab as different cars and people passed.

"Willow High School please." I rambled around in my purse to find some change to give the man. I waited until we stopped in front of a huge high school. "Thanks." I handed him the cash and stepped out of the yellow car. I walked down the pathway to the front doors of the school and entered. The hallways were cleard because well, I was late. I went straight to my classroom, that I was student teaching in.

"Charlie!" Jacob, the real teacher of the class, called out. All of the ninth grade kids stared at me.

"Sorry I was late. I ran into some traffic!" I said as a lame and fake excuse. He just nodded and kept on explaining to the class what the next assignment was. I walked to the back of the classroom and set all of my belongings down needed for the day and walked out to tell the office that I was running late. I explained to them that I ran into traffic and left to go to the teachers bathroom. I unlocked the door and closed it behind me. I walked up to the mirror and looked at myself.

You probably want to know a bit about me. My name is Charlie Wander. I know great name. Well, I have bright blue eyes, wavy reddish brown hair, I have light pink lips, sort of pale skin, kind of short, and is at the age of 19. Yeah, 19 and a student teacher. I walked back to class for a long day...

"Alright class! Remember to do your homework! That means you Dillian! I said with a smile on my face. I bent over to pick up a paper that a student failed to get into the trash can. I felt a light smack on my bum. I shot up to look at Tim, the 'big dog' of the school, as he walked out. He was every high school girls dream boy. My face stayed red as I watched him leave the classroom with his friends as they all laughed.

"Little peice of c-"

"Hey Charlie! I have some buisness to go to do you think you could finish grading those papers today. I looked behind me to see a large stack of papers. I turned back to face him and nodded. "Thanks! I'll see you Monday!" Then he left. I turned to the desk and started to finish the papers.

"C.

B-.

E.

A-.

D-.

D." I whispered as I put the grades on the different papers. I huffed at most of the failing grades and set the finished papers on the desk. I grabbed my different things and headed out the door. It was already 7, yeah teaching can be time consuming. I walked out the doors as the sun was setting, lovely autumn weather. I started walking to the grocery store. There was a little path through the woods next to the school that end up around the store. I started walking down the path. It got really dark real quick and of course it started to rain. I hugged myself and without knowing it I cut my leg on a branch and started to fall but I never hit the ground. I looked up to see big red eyes and curly hair. I jumped up and brushed myself off.

"Thank you..?" I looked up and saw nobody there. "Um ok." I started to speed walk down the rest of the path until I ended up behind Starbucks. I walked down the edge of the woods until I reached the store and shopped. I ended up getting another taxi home and slept the night away.
