I was about four and a half at the time when my mother disappeared. It happened during a family camping trip along with my mother's best friend. About half way through the trip while my dad and grandfather were trying to get the grill started, and all the girls were getting to picnic table set up I went for a walk in the nearby forest. After a few minutes, I was making my way back to the campsite, I saw a fox with golden fur being chased by a dog like creature. I didn't know what to do but I wanted to help the fox so I chased the creature away. When the creature ran away the fox came up to me and started to follow me around so I took it back to the camp with me. When I got back to the campsite my dad and grandfather got the grill going and dinner was almost ready. So for a little bit I played with the little fox and got used to it being there I think it liked me. But later that night after I went to bed I heard my mom and her friend yelling about something. I wondered what they were talking about so I started walking over to them. When I got close to them the turned and yelled at me for not being asleep in the tent so I went back and noticed the fox wasn't next to my sleeping bag. The next morning when I got up my mom was gone and her friend was talking to my grandfather and dad. I waited a few minutes before getting out of the tent and started walking over there. As I got over there they stopped talking and my dad told me to go get all my stuff packed up. Once I got all my stuff packed up, my dad told me to get in the car. After I got into the car we all left the campsite and I never went back again. Since then I've finished elementary school and then middle school when I was twelve after that high school at fifteen and now I'm sixteen and freshmen in college getting ready to leave for spring break.
