You said you loved me

You said you loved me yet you got over me rather quick.
Was I just some random girl that you had picked?
Even though we both agreed it was for the best.
That doesn't mean that my heart was at rest.
You said you loved me but you already moved on.
I guess your feelings after all were really gone.
I don't want you to feel guilty on my behalf.
But it sure would be nice if I were the reason why you smiled and laughed.
